Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 26) (Top voted first)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

I am finding the Teva brand 20mg fine. Sometimes I take 2 a day but they work.

I take corpharma ( the pink ones ) but I was just informed by my pharmacist that they will be discontinued soon .. that brand was by far the best and I've had almost every generic brand .. so since they are being discontinued which would you guys reccomend ? O:

I am fine with the 20mg orange ones from Teva. What dosage do you take and what time do you take it at? Also, how old are you and how much do you weigh? I was first put on 5mg round blue pills from teva (they did nothing). Then was put on 10mg from teva (blue oval). Also nothing.

Now I am on 20mg orange football from Teva. They work but wear off especially if you drink lots of water like me. I am 53 and 95 pounds and 4'10ish but I am not sure if this relates to your weight/height. I do not abuse them (to study) but rather use them to focus on work/stimulant. I never take one after 4-4:30pm. Do you take a break from them on some days? I need to be careful as these cause your blood pressure to rise and can be bad for your heart (and I'm older) but have low blood presure 90/60 or lower. Now it is 110/60 which they said is fine but don't go higher than that at my age. I don't use them to stay up for 36 hours studying but more because of age/depression/tirednesness especially looking at monitors. Let me know.

I am liking the TEVA orange ones. I first was on Teva blue ones (5mg and 10mg). When the Dr changed the script to 20mg (Teva brand too) the pills were orange and football shaped. I get them at Walgreens in NY. They are never out of stock. The only thing I can tell you is that sometimes I need a 2nd dose in the afternoon. I don't like to take the 20mg again and have used the blue pills. They have a terrible side effect (headaches) and also make me GRUMPY coming down of them. I'm also trying to make sure my blood pressure doesn't go high (it is elevated on this drug).

I'm 18, 5'2 & 118 pounds & take it at 8 am and it wears off within the next 2 hours... What about 30 mg ir?

San Antonio. You can get Teva from Walgreens and all other major stores carry Aurobindo. Some mom & Poo have Mylan. Of course there's always Adderall XR Brand and the Authorized Generic of Brand private labeled for Sandoz and Prasco.
These Aurobindo we're Ok for 3 days and total tolerance took over and you might as well have given me a vitamin. Will entertain Mylan as possibility next month. Took a few that were short on a Corepharma script and we're ok.

Can anyone please explain the difference between oval peach 20mg adderall (b973) vs the round pink cor 136 adderall? I have never taken the peach pill before and my pharmacist forgot to tell me that he gave me a different pill before I left.

ME AS WELL BEING FED UP! I am getting ready to head back to the Dr.s and let them know that this formula is NOT WORKING! My eyes feel "like a sharp burn or tingle I cannot describe... My face flushed and my vision is so obscured my motivation is to walk in circles and its happened once before." Walking in circles "like trying to make sure I have everything before leaving the house." No motivation and no mood enhance of "being in the moment." What a waste of my time and life... I WILL JUST ASK FOR NAME BRAND RITALIN NOW! Have some sympathy on the companies, the formulation is a common practice known as compounding!... So, with that being said..."The pharm techs and pharmacists think they can "tweak the med just right so that the negative effects go away." My bladder is now not being different and I am now happy like the happiness I got from the Ritalin I once was used to. The negative effects I used to have subsided and I was able to be more functional. WHAT THE HECK!

I feel the same way. What do you plan to do now that the Sandoz generic IR is scheduled to be discontinued?

Have you tried any of the other newer generics for Adderall? What did you and didn't you like about them?

My pharmacist said she isn't aware of that happening. But that's okay. I tried all the brands.. LOL! But I would in fact go back to the core Pharmaceuticals ones. They are the round pink ones 136. But seriously worst case scenario if they both got discontinued which is highly unlikely. I would then go have my doctor write me for name brand only!

So you must be misinformed on the pink ones. There are very crappy pink ones made by Activa I think that's how you spell it. But there are very good bright pink ones too! Those ones are made by Barr.

I'm going to say Sandoz pharmaceutical makes the best ones! It's so easy to say that I've tried every different one then switch from Pharmacy to Pharmacy to name-brand and generic. You can't get name brand anymore. I think the closest that comes to name brand would be Sandoz Pharmaceuticals. Next in line would be core Pharmaceuticals. Those are the bright pink ones that say cor 136 (NOT LIGHT PINK).
