Two weeks back I found out I'm hiv+ with a CD4 count of 28. I cut my thumb a few days ago. the cut is doing fine, but the cellulitus is developing under it. I have 10 pills left from a previous script the wasn't finished. I took nitrofur macr 100 mg for 6 days of the 7 day prescription. I was having serious side effects, such as difficulty breathing, chills, intense nausea, and a skin rash. Within 24 hours of stopping the medication all of the side effects disappeared, except the skin rash. I have been off the medication for 3 days now and the rash is still present.
