My sister has asthma, blood clots in her legs, and some lung situation think it's called odt. She is taking blood thiners, and just gave birth (c-section) and got her tubes tied on the 14th. Now shes having trouble breathing on her own. She's utilizing a breathing machine. What can she take or do naturally to breath normally? ## She needs to call her dr. ## Can you provide anymore details as to what's wrong? What is the name of her condition? What medications does she take? Is it an oxygen tank that's she on, or a nebulizer?

I usually sleep great due to lexapro, but after being on advair 250/50 for just a few days, I can hardly sleep ! I am exhausted but it is so hard to fall asleep. This is getting rediculous, but the advair is helping my asthma a lot and I hate to quit it. Any suggestions? ## Hello, Adelyn! How are you? One of the active ingredients in it is a steroid, so it can cause insomnia, but it should wear off in a few weeks, once your body adjusts to the medication. If it doesn't, you'll need to consult the prescribing physician. You may also experience an oral yeast infection as a side effect. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taken the medication for 10 months alot of hair loss. But i can run a 10 k now without any issues. but I am lossing so much hair has anyone hair grown back. ## It likely will continue as long as you're on it. I'm not seeing any reports of it changing, while people were still on it. It's been reported by many people that took it. What else do you take to treat your breathing condition?

Is Bronkaid available over the counter now? I see people with it on eBay so they have to be getting it somewhere. ## Hello, Nicky! How are you? Bronkaid has always been available over the counter. It contains Ephedrine, so you do have to ask for it at your pharmacy, plus show ID and sign for your purchase, but a prescription is not mandated. I am noticing a weight gain since I have been on spriva. I have also been given symbicort and am concerned about weight gain with it also. Is there any thing I can take for stage 2copd that isn't going to make me gain weight. ## Hello, Sue! How are you? I am very sorry about the weight gain, I know that is very frustrating. Unfortunately, it's a side effect of almost all of these types of medications, usually due to the steroids used in them and, sometimes, the antihistamines. Do you make sure to get as much exercise as you can? Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? They may have other ideas that could help.

Our 2 yr old has been taking Advair for about a month and wow, things have changed with his sleep! He only sleeps about 6-7 hrs in a 24 hr span and that's only if he's being held and not in his crib! When he wakes up it seems he's having night terrors. Has anyone else had this experience! If you have then advise, please! ## Hello, Patty! How is he doing? These oral steroids can cause insomnia and excitability, which could explain the problems he's having. Have you talked to his doctor? You may need to adjust the dosage or try him on a different medication. ## Verwon, he goes to the asthma dr tomorrow! I just hope the dr doesn't try to talk us into keeping him on the Advair! We will refuse it! Thanks for your input!

My child was tested 2x possitive on a drug test. Before any questions were asked, she stated that her boyfriends mom gave her cough mixture and flu meds when she visited by them. I would like a good answer for this? As she was also tested possitive to weed. I found the weed bombs ect, but she claims that she tried weed only. There was more than enough evidence of other stuff.. All empty. And i have been made out to be the evil mother who wont believe her. I need some facts to screw her theory plz

My 2 year,9 month old has just injested a scopex compound, I am extremely concerned. What are the side effects for my child. He weighs abt 18.5lbs. ## Hi nadia, It's hard to say how this medication might effect any individual, as everyone can react differently to prescription drugs. The best thing to do in my opinion is to keep a close eye on how your child reacts to the dosage given and simply remain aware and ready to take care of the following possible side effects, if any present themselves: Side effects of antimuscarinic agents include, dryness of the mouth with difficulty in swallowing and talking, thirst, reduced bronchial secretions, dilation of the pupils (mydriasis) with loss of accommodation (cyclopegia) and photophobia, flushing and dryness of the skin, transient bradyca...

I am on my fifth month of IV's in the hospital. My doctor said after 3 months, I can do it myself at home. Do any of you IV at home? If so, could you give me an idea of what that's like? I read that the medication is from a special pharmacy, and they will send the medication to the doctor. I assume they only send the meds once a month. If that's true, I might as well have it done in the hospital as his clinic is located in the hospital. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

My doctor prescribed "L-Montus Flash", but I accidentally used "L-Montus". Is there any problem with this? ## The basic difference between L-Montus and L-Montus Flash is the technology used in manufacturing: Both L-Montus and L-Montus flash contain Levocetrizine and Montelukast. But in L-Montus flash the technology is flash disintegration technology (FDT) which helps provide faster relief and faster onset of action: In allergic rhinitis L-Montus flash provides relief in a flash. In India L-Montus flash is the only tablet that's offering this technology.

me suffered asthma because overweight ## Hello, Rio! How are you doing? I'm sorry that you're having a problem. Being overweight would not cause asthma, it is caused by allergies. Additionally, this website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications or products, it is an information only website. Being overweight can cause breathing issues, just due to being out of shape, or you may be developing a heart problem. Have you consulted your doctor?
