After using Enapco for approximately 7 years + suddenly had an asthma attack while lecturing. Doctor then added ciplavasc to my treatment saying I had developed genetic asthma. Walking uphill usually agravates laboured breathing requiring frequent rest while walking. Talking nonstop, eg when teaching has also threatened to bring on an attack.i usually just stop talking for a while. And try not to hyperventilate.
UpdatedUsed to get them at a truck stop just plane white mini crosses ## Hi Sweets, From what I could find online, the old mini thin's that were once available are no longer being manufactured. I believe this is due to the 25mgs of Ephedrine it contained. Apparently though, there is a newer version now which has been placed in a category of nutritional supplements that reportedly contains: 200mgs of Caffeine + 25mg Synephrine (a molecule that is said to be similar to Ephedrine in so far as how it works, but notably less potent) + a 30 mg blend of Ginseng, Kola Nut extract, Rhondiola Rosea root extract, and White Willow Bark extract. I haven't tried either of them, but some comments I found suggest that the new formula still works pretty well for it's indication. I hope this helps!
I was prescribed Gastrocrom and Domperidome, can they be taken together? If so, is there any side effects? ## Hi Julie, The only drug interactions I found listed under Domperidone are if you were to take it with certain antibiotics or antifungal medications that have been known to increase the plasma concentration of Domperidone as well as it's potential for causing side effects. Nothing though is listed between Gastrocrom and Domperidone, so I would still encourage you to take that up with your doctor as a precautionary measure for more specific details. However even if there aren't any interactions, each medication's individual side effects are still at play and would also be something to watch out for; not to be mistaken for possible drug interactions or vise versa. Thoug...
Some three years ago, I woke up to discover that my chest was tight and had difficulty in breathing. I consulted a Doctor who diagnosed the problem to be COPD. He thereafter placed me on Tedral SA. When I started using the drug I discovered that my genital organ shrank and could not urinate freely as I used to. I then stopped the used of the drug for a day and I discovered that I could urinate freely again. When I complained to the Doctor about this he told me that he had never heard about such complaints before and that there was no substitute he prescribed for me that I should continue to use it. Each time I used the drug it was the same side effects that I experienced. Later he gave me some other drugs and transferred me to another consultant who is a respiratory specialist. I later ...
Updated in TedralI work for a court ordered supervision program. I have a participant who is pregnant and recently had to receive 3 injections of Terbutaline (brethine). Since then, she has twice tested positive for oxy. Is there any way brethine could create a false positive for oxy?
Updated in TerbutalineAs stated before I would post my results. Sm. cap. ultrasonic cleaner from HF Tools (less than $30). Ran it thru 2 three min. cycles using dist. water heated to 90 deg. Improved mist vol. enough to be adequate but short of what a new unit does. Sent report to Nephron w/details and awaiting any response. Hoping they come up with new cleaning procedure because what comes w/product does not work over the long term. In the meantime try this if you are having problems. ## So far I'm having pretty good results with my cleaning method. I'm going to see if I can skip an ultrasonic cleaning for a day and just soak the cup in water. Unfortunately have not heard from Nephron yet. I do hope they will address this issue with their product. ## Hi Glenn, I don't believe I noticed your prev...
After taking Symbicort for about six weeks, I had a night of terrible calf cramps which were so severe that I developed a bruise on my upper calf. I have also developed boil-like lesions under my arm and on my chin. I did not relate it at first to taking Symbicort, but called the doctor and he took me off Symbicort. Are these side effects unusual for taking Symbicort? ## Symbicort contains a steroid, so yes, it can cause such side effects. But the cramps you experienced seem to have been rather extreme and more intense. It's likely your doctor didn't want you to have to keep dealing with that misery. Are you on any other medications? Has the acne started clearing up, yet?

Could anyone please tell me about Diatomaceous Earth, if this product is safe to use if suffering from C.O.P.D. and asthma? Looks like a miracle cure but not too sure of it's safety. Also which is the best supplier? thanks, Ritsie. ## Just make sure you buy "food grade" DE, as the other stuff can really hurt you. DE kills parasites in the gut and is very effective immediately. Also, DE is an excellent source of silica, which is used by the human anatomy everywhere.

My son frequently catches colds. Our doctor has suggested he take one Levokast Kid Tablet daily for six months. Are there any side effects associated with these medications? ## Hi Anubrato , sorry to hear about your son. I was on Advair for years and then I slowly weaned myself off it with the permission of my doctor. After almost a year of not taking it though, it turns out that I have a low wheeze and I did notice that some physical activities were more difficult. My doctor prescribed Symbicort and the first 3 days it made me really constipated. That got sorted out and I noticed that I was able to breathe easier during certain physical activities. It's now been about 3 weeks and I'm dizzy and lightheaded and my anxiety has ramped up ALOT. Since Advair was working before I stopped taking it I'm not sure why I was prescribed Symbicourt. I want to stop taking it and go back to Advair. How long do I have to wait before taking the Advair? ## Hi SuperGurl007! B 4 switching medications, b sure yo...
I was prescribed MARAX (Mfg: Pfizer) in 1967. from 1967 to 2009 or 2010 till the medicine was pulledout from market for reasons unknown. Was soundly berated because I hadn't picked up prescription for months. I tried to explain I hadn't been able to afford the prescriptions. Then I was told off because I asked for a repeat prescription for Serevent inhaler which I use with the Qvar inhaler I tried to point out that the Qvar had 200 doses whereas the Seravent had 120, therefore I was going to run out of the Serevent before I ran out of the Qvar. She wouldn't listen, told me off as if I were a child. I am 60 years old and have had asthma all my life. I came away feeling depressed and angry. ## Hello, Cat! How are you?
