I had my angiogram done and my Dr said it was normal with minor luminal irregularities. EF 50-55%. I'm on aspirin 100mg, amlodipine 2.5mg, atorvastatin 10mg, metformin 250mg TDS. Plus I'm allergic to NSAID's. After the angiogram I also developed hematoma on my right hand, showing acute obstruction (length 5cm) with retograde flow. I have no more AF so tried to go off Eliquist and diltiazam. However when I did (slowly, one at a time) I felt a tightness in my chest and a rapid heartbeat for a few seconds on getting up. I have 2 different types of pills that are supposed to be exactly the same. One is round, white and has a line across the back of it, and on other side it has in big numbers 54 and under that is the number 543. The other pill is flat, smooth, white, plain on one side and on the other side it has the number 4839 with a line under that and a kind of cursive V. I received the latter one a while ago when I had dental work done and it helped me so much. The colored portion of the ecosprin av 75/20 is extremely difficult to dissolve and passes in stool as such in tablet form. I do not know if the colored portion is aspirin or AV. Does anyone know which portion of the digestive track the component is suppose to dissolve and gets absorbed.
