I can't take aspirin so I have been taking aspirin free excedrin. All of a sudden I can't find it anywhere. Am told that they recalled it because they found glass in it. ## We did not take anything off the market, this is an information only website, this site does not manufacture, nor sell any products, of any type. I have a little yellow round pill with the capital letter L on one side and nothing on the other side. Please help me figure out what this is. I am allergic to Aspirin and was put on Sporasec, but I experienced swelling in my face and hands, vomiting, fever and headache. ## No, it does not, but you may also be allergic to it, or one of it's ingredients. Are Ecosprin AV 75/10 and Ecosprin AV 75 different capsules or are they the same? I was prescribed Ecosprin AV 75/10, but I am getting only Ecosprin AV 75 and Ecosprin AV 75/20 from the pharmacy... ## They are the same, according to what you've listed here. Here are my symptoms: 1. Chest pain - mostly aching but occasionally sharp pain; mostly felt on the left side but also felt on the right side & in the center 2. Sweaty palms & soles of feet - sometimes it feels like the chest pain will literally cause my palms to start sweating but my palms & feet sweat with or without chest pain 3. Having hip surgery in 4 days. I was given a prescription for Hydrocodon-Acetami Nophen 5-325 by my Internist for pain when needed. I have only taken a few in the last week but today, I am hurting a bit more. I know I am to stop taking anything with aspirin in it 7 days before surgery except for tylenol which doesn't work for me. Is there aspirin in this medication? Is it safe to take before my surgery? I need a strong enough pain pill to kill the pain in neck and down the back. According to my ultrasound result I have Adenomyosis. My OB-GYNE prescribed me Aspilet EC 80mg once a day for 90days. Is it ok for me to take aspilet ec 80mg for that long period of time? I am a patient of pancreatitis due to this I am diabetic also, can i take this medicine ## Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and no, it should not be taken if you have Pancreatitis. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and can aggravate the condition. It can also cause your stomach to produce more acid, which can cause the pancreas to be further irritated and try to release more enzymes, since it thinks you are trying to digest more food and that can also make the condition worse. Whenever someone has pancreatitis, it is advised that they stay away from all nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories. Have you talked to your doctor about this? A white pill with 44 over 198 stamped on one side, and blank on the other. Not sure what these are. It looks like aspirin, just not sure on the stamping. Is it OK to take Oxa B and Aspirin together? The reason for the Aspirin is for thinning the blood after a stroke. The Oxa B is for severe hip pain. ## Has your doctor instructed you take the Oxa B with the Aspirin? Both of them can cause blood thinning, according to the NIH, which creates and increased risk of bleeding, other side effects may include stomach irritation, liver damage, or liver failure. Taking them together could be dangerous, given your medical condition.

my wife is taking ecosprin under doctor's advice.But this has triggered gas in her body and feel uneasy Can this be remedied ? ## Unfortunately, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain, are all common side effects of Ecosprin AV (aspirin). In my opinion, the best thing to do would be to use natural alternatives instead of this drug (depending on what your wife is taking it for). She may or may not continue to experience side effects until she stops taking the medication. That is just the nature of man made drugs. She can also try to take another medication to help ease the gas build up; but then again, that drug may come with side effects too. My previously "no problem, small-dose aspirin", A-fib has become a problem; increasing, intensifying episodes of what my Dr. says is Paroxysmal A-fib, with weakness, fainting, sweating, trouble breathing. I have no idea what this pill is and I am just curious. It's a small aspirin sized dark green/blue (depending on how you see color I personally find it dark green but some people could see a really dark blue-green instead), all it has is a mark that says 17 or if flipped over I guess it could be L1/LI on one side- no mark on the other.
