I know it's a generic xanax, i can tell, but the pill has one g 249 on it... not the gg249. Is it still a 2 mg pill? ## That is interesting. They have a med called buspar that looks exactly like a xanax bar except one side has only 2 score lines as to divide into 3rds. Beware of fake xanax. ## It's not a fake tablet, it's actually just people looking at it and assuming what it is, rather than actually looking it up to check. Buspar is an anxiolytic, so while it does help with anxiety, it must be taken regularly, not on an as needed basis. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. What are the pills that have 16 on one side and 27S on the other side and are brownish pink in color? Hydroxyzine hcl 25mg? ## I believe the imprint you are looking at is actually IG 275, it is manufactured by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and it contains 10mgs of Hydroxyzine, which is used to treat allergic reactions, insomnia, and anxiety. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and sedation. (NDC 68462-0352 for more information.) Is there anything else I can help with?

my neurologist put me onn0.125 Clonazepam for anxiety, I have A Fib so have taken warfarin for 20 years. I have lots of side effects even from this low dosage, called nurse today: wierd dreams,dizzy, brain fog, my INR was high for me 2.9, my lab said to check it on Wed. 12/20 & call them.He said to stop the anxiety med??? ## How long have you been taking it? Clonazepam has been known to cause some bleeding issues in some people that take it, as well as other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability, according to FDA reports. I filled a prescription for Pepson (diazepam) and they are small blue tablets in a blister pack that look very well made. They don't have any markings on the tablets. Personally, I have never seen diazepam that looks like these ones and I would like to know if they are a good brand? ## Ramie, No they are not!! Checking all relative databases returns. A red flag should always be no marker or codes present. You mentioned pepson? There is an enzyme that assists in digestion called pepsin but certainly contains no diazepam or Valium. My fiance has been taking klonopins for a couple of years n recently tested positive for marijuana but does not smoke marijuana. Could klonopins be the reason for the false positive? ## No, the active ingredient in Klonopin, which is Clonazepam, hasn't been known to cause false positives for THC. Was he taking anything else? I have situational anxiety, my pcp prescribes me 0.5 alprazolam. She normally writes a prescription which states to take 1 tablet orally 1 x a day. Heres the thing i take them as needed, which is not nearly as much as i am prescribed! it is now 5-5-17 ive had the same prescription since 3-17-17 and still a few left. Im looking for a Dr. or psychiatrist that will prescribe me xanax. My Dr. recently retired and I've been getting 120 2mg bars every month for years and als. I've been on methadone the last 3 years at 140 mgs. Im from the Detroit, Michigan Downriver area. ## 120 Bars a month, nobody should have that? We can't tell you who takes what insurance. Its taken so long to find out that I'm not crazy as everyone was suggesting. The distain and criticism from both pharmacist and Dr. that the difference in the Lorazapam was all in MY head. With all that I've been trough I deserve more respect than being treated like a "junkie". Thanks to all voices out there, its certainly helped me knowing I'm not the only that can tell there are big differences in all the manufactures and they all come with there own little side effects. Is it illegal to take a lesser amount of the dose prescribed? I’m takin an 1/8 of a 2mg Xanax instead of a 1/2 of the pill which my dr prescribed? i was in the hospital friday and saturday. when i got out and opened my drawer my pills were gone. what should i do? ## Did you report it to the police? If not, then you probably won't have much luck getting them replaced. Just telling your pharmacy, or doctor that it happened, without any police report, or anything to back it up isn't like to merit any assistance. If it is just time for your regular refill, then it shouldn't be a problem, because you don't actually need to bottle to get the next refill from your pharmacy. I was prescribed Xanax 2mg bars again for extreme anxiety! I have withdrawan from xanax twice in a matter of 2 years. I can't take them anymore! They are making me sick. Can anyone tell me why? I've been sick & haven't taken my meds right. If I take .5mg of klonopin in the morning how do I know it's going to be there on my test so my Dr can see that I'm taking it? I have been taking 1mg (yellow) Clonazepam generic for Klonopin for a while now (yes I know it is habit forming). It is for anxiety and to help me sleep. I am on a high a fluctuating thyroid disease so there are some times my thyroid will over produce and w/ the meds on top I will be hyper anyways I also notice if I miss just one does I will have major anxiety. I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis 8 years ago. I also have no L5S1 disc in my spine from an old car accident. I have chronic/constant neck spasms from the MS as well as from the spine spasms. I have tried valium, gabepenton, lyrica and flexeril. I had trigger point injections in my neck/shoulders. No relief at all. My Neuro wants to do another trigger point injection himself. But what is that going to do for the spasms in my back and the ones I get in my legs from time to time? I have terrible anxiety and panic attacks. this has been going on since i was 8 years old. I have been on variouse meds, almost all benzodiazapines and i find that xanax works best for me. ## Any licensed Medical doctor can prescribe Xanax. There are some States that do not allow the M.D to prescribe this medication and will refer you to a Psychiatrist. I'm congested and taking Prednisone + Cheratussin, but can't sleep. Can I take my Xanax? ## Hi Reba, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are interactions listed between Xanax and Cheratussin AC (I don't know if there are different types of Cheratussin). However, if you do have the one containing codeine, they go on to note that taking a benzodiazepine with an opioid can cause problems with your breathing as well as other related side effects. If you are already prescribed both medications your doctor may suggest changing the timing and/or frequency of dosing in order to lessen the risk of such symptoms. I hope this info helps!
