I take 40 milligrams of celexa (citalopram) for depression. My question is can they tell a difference between citalopram and xanax in a urine test? If I stop taking .5mg of xanax after only2 months wwhat's the risk of a possible seizure ## Slight ## It would ultimately be best to talk with your doctor about tapering first. But from what I've been reading, most people shouldn't have any severe problems after stopping xanax at that low of a dose. The National Anxiety Foundation states that cold turkey-ing 4mgs or more is notably what can cause moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms and/or convulsions in some cases. So in my honest opinion the risk for you is very slim. This is actually manufactured by Dava, Stada is just a licensed distributor. That's why when people post that such and such is listed on the prescription label, I always ask them to post back with the markings and description, because that's the only way it can be traced back to the actual company whose production line it comes off of. I was diagnosed with bipolar, anxiety and depression. I am taking hydroxyzine pam 50 mg 3x daily, oxcarbazepine 300 mg 2x daily, lomotrigine 100 mg 2x daily, and trazonone 100 mg and temazepam 30 mg, each each bedtime. About 2 weeks ago I was an emotional wreck, so I took 1 whole and a 1/2 Xanax the .5mg peach ones. Now I am worried about testing positive for benzos. Do you think 2 weeks is long enough to be out of my system, since I only took them that ONE night? ## Yes! 2 weeks in plenty of time. Xanax and all other benzo's are insidious! They stay in your body' FAT, and that is why they stay in your body up to 2 weeks. I think anywhere from 10 to 14 days is fine with only taking 1.5mg one time. It's not like you had it built up in your system for days. What sucks is that this pill is legal, and basically your screwed for two weeks once you take it. Which is stronger - Chlordiaz/clid 5/2.5 mg or Alprazolam 0.25mg? ## Really? For one they are completely different drug categories. Alprazolam is xanax..for anxiety and chlordiazclid (chlordiazclidinium) is for heart burn so obviously the alprazolam is stronger as in having a high effect ( .25 is the lowest dose) because chlordiazclid doesnt have one at all.

I have been on Suboxone for over a year and I want to get off of it. I am down to.5 mg once a day. For some reason that last .5 mg is the hardest part for me to get off of. My doctor has prescribed Phenobarbital 32.4 mg. for agitation. But I also have some Clonidine 0.1 mg left from an old prescrption. If my withdrawals get pretty bad at night, is it safe to take Phenobarbital 32.4 mg and Clonidine 0.1 mg together? ## Hello, Angie! How are you? Can't find anything. 15pills per chart, help please ## I found a light green pill in a blister pack with no markings. The pill is round and is speckled brown inside like a multivitamin. It is about two centimeters in diamiter. If anyone knows what it is id like help thanks ## Sounds like it could be a librium 10 mg a benzo, similar too valium but milder and has a lower half life, doesn't work as long. More commonly come in capsules. Used to treat anxiety and alcohol withdrawal. But with no markings very hard to tell could be anything.

However it is still an anti-anxiety medication; just not nearly as addictive as Xanax from what I hear. This one appears to be listed as a 30mg generic tablet manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. I am right now in the most God awful Valium withdrawal and I only took 5 mg every night to sleep. ( for years) I very rarely took one during the day for anxiety. I never took them recreationally. I never upped the dose or got a tolerance. I decided to quit taking it and knew you had to do it gradually but I did it too abruptly and I am in a living hell right now!!! AVOID VALIUM it's dangerous and mean. If I had known this could happen to me I NEVER would have taken it at all. I'm seeing the doc tomorrow and I'll probably have to go back to the original dose before I can try to come back off of it. I have taken 8 valuims at once what could happen ## The most likely outcome is you would sleep for hours and hours then wake up groggy. I'm not a doctor but when I used to get migraines I'd take 5-6 sometimes (because it eliminated the migraine) and wake up groggy. Who know though? You could also suffer organ damage. Why do you take so many if you don't mind me asking? Tom.

These are from India and are meant to be 10MG Diazepam. Not sure if they are the real thing or not. a friend takes Klonopin - I think abuses it. Twice he has not taken it for a day and he loses his ability to talk. Slurred speech - as soon as he takes it again - he is fine.
