it got me high when i took it for anxiety, given to me by a doctor in mexico. ## This is not a medication that would cause that type of side effect. Ketorolac is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling, so it won't even treat anxiety. Its normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi i'm currently on Cilift 20mg and bromazapam. Is it safe to drink in moderation while using these drugs. I still get anxiety attacts, should it not have stopt now tha i am on these medication? ## Hello, Elsabe! How are you? How long have you been taking these medications? That could be a factor in why you're still having anxiety. It can take about 4 to 6 weeks, before they reach their full level of effectiveness in the body, so if it's been less than that, you may need to give it more time. If it's been longer, then you may need a dosage adjustment or to try different medications. The issues with alcohol are two-fold, one is that it can potentiate the side effects, so you may get a lot more drowsy, dizzy and nauseous than usual, basically each drink will hit you as if ...

i am taking feliz s plus 5 half a tablet in the morning daily for two years how do i stop it and what are the side effects i take half tablet of cpzam 0.25mg at night is there any harm mustafa ## Hi Mustafa, I've been on clonazapan and just went off of it, I never had any withdrawls from it and seemed to be fine. If you don't feel this is an option or have other health concerns, go to your dose every other night for one week, then try every three days, see how you do. It's called winging yourself. It's the safest way and exactly how a doctor would do it. Good luck. ## Hello, Mustafa! How are you? There is one major precaution that hasn't been mentioned that must be pointed out here… A sudden withdrawal from long-term use of benzodiazepines, such as this, create...

I have severe hypertension. I am 76 yrs old. I am allergic to most BP medicine, with horrible side effects. I am on clonidine three times a day with a 1 mg lorazepam. It was working well until my pharmacy changed manufacturers. I was getting Sandoz. Since I have had Qualitest and Watson generic and they do absolutly nothing, even if I take 3 at a time. I have called all around and nobody sells Sandoz. My insurance will not pay for the real thing and 60 pills cost 700.00 dollars. How can I get Sandoz again ? ## Hello, Caroline! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Since the Lorazepam is a controlled substance that is commonly abused, you most likely didn't get an honest answer from the pharmacies that you called. They have no way of knowing if th...

Hi All, thanks for this useful chat. I live in South Africa and have been on cymgen 60mg for about 8 months for anxiety and depression. It has helped a bit, but of late I feel it is working less and less. I work as a researcher at a university, and my job requires a good amount of creative thought and writing. Over the last 8 months, I feel that my creativity and ability to work effectively has been severely hampered. I tried to come off the cymgen 2 weeks ago, without knowing of the negative side effects. My withdrawal was severe, including vertigo, light headedness, flu like symptoms, diarrhoea, very poor levels of concentration and tiredness. I then did some reading, and am back on the drugs and feeling much better after just one day. I will now try a very gradual tapering, of about ...

My husband cought attack of anxiety in 2009. That time dr prescribed Nexito LS since he is taking every night half tab. But now he want stop I can't he feels uneasyness pls suggest ## Hello, Anita! How is your husband doing? If he has been taking it for years, then it would be normal to have withdrawal effects, if he tries to stop suddenly. A slow tapering is usually best, to prevent him from feeling the withdrawal symptoms. Has he consulted his doctor? They should be able to help him set up a good and safe tapering schedule. Usually, the modern method is to have the person start skipping days, like taking it every other day for a week, then skipping every 2 days and so on.

Is it safe to take an extra Hydroxyzine pill once it's expired? If so, how long is the estimated shelf-life for this medication? ## Hello, LoSam! How are you? When did it expire? Doubling up wouldn't be advisable, because if it is still effective, that may result in far too much sedation and depression of the central nervous system, which could put in you danger, due to lowered heart rate and blood pressure. Concerning Hydroxyzine’s estimated shelf life, the following analysis performed by Spectrum Chemical denotes a timeframe of 60 months (5 years) from the date of manufacture. Albeit, they go on to state that the actual assigned shelf life for any specific lot should be referenced on the Certificate of Analysis: spectrumchemical.com/media/tech-statements/Technical_Docume...

How are you? It's very important that a warning be a added here, regarding the risk of seizures if you suddenly withdraw from this medication. So yes, you do need to be very careful. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was previously taking Butalbital Compund 50-325-40 twice a day for about 4 years for tension headaches. My doctor now has started me on Nortriptyline and no more Butalbital. Anyone else with tension headaches who had to make this switch and did Nortriptyline really help? Vince P ## Hello, Vince! How are you? Yes, everyone is having to make a switch. As to whether or not Nortriptyline will work, the only way to find out is to try it and see. 1. What are small yellow pills from Thailand marked V on one side; 5 on the other. (not scored) 2. What are scored larger yellow pills from Thailand with D and 5 on the same side? ## I'm sorry, but foreign medications aren't regulated like those in the U.S. and Canada, so there is no central database that I can search for these. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize these tablets? ## No one recognizes but say it looks like diazepam

Hi, I am beginning to realize that my Xanax use is causing me to be more depressed (I also take Lexapro and Wellbrutrin for depression). I take the 3mg Ext release but must admit that I don't take it as prescribed. I bite the pill in half and take part in the morning and part in the afternoon. This probably means that I am taking the equivalent of a higher dose. About 15 years ago I started on the.5 MG and as things in my life became more stressful, my Doc kept upping the dose. Oh, did I mention he also has me on 5 mg of Ambien. The Ambien and Xanax used to work well. They don't work like they used to and I do not want yet a higher dosage. On the other hand, I have suffered with anxiety all my life. I would consider taking something like 1mg a day (of Xanax) if it comes to that,...
