I recieved a white pill with no imprint, it is scored and six sided, looks like pill identifiers Lamictal but is in a Sertraline sealed package. It is from Unichem pharmaceuticals. They obviously did not ship the Ritallin, but could this be Sertraline or Lamictal? Unichem Labratories is supossedly legitimate, but I may have to throw away $200 worth of medication. I would like to find out what it is and if it is safe / worth storing or really should be trashed. Though I do hope I will never need Lamictal! ## Unfortunately, so far, I can't find any details on what their Sertraline, or Lamictal pills look like and whether or not they have any markings on them. Have you tried contacting Unichem? They ...
I recently switched from being on/off Prozac for 20 years to taking Celexa, all I wanted to do was sleep all the time after starting it. The Dr. put me on Prestiq, I am on day 15 and not noticing a difference, still want to sleep. Any suggestions on what to try next? ## It will take about 4 to 6 weeks, before this medication reaches its full level of efficacy in your body, for you to know if it's going to work for you. If you don't see any improvement after being on it for at least 4 weeks, then you should consult your doctor. The FDA lists ts typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. What are you taking it to treat?

How are you? Pliva lists this tablet as containing 100mgs of Trazodone. The FDA classifies it as a tetracyclic antidepressant and yes, loss of libido can be one of its side effects, along with nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, mood swings and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am doing well, Thank You, and for your response.. I was on Celexa for Anxiety, Depression and Panic Attacks for over a year and it stopped working. I am now on day 4 of my psychiatrist switching me to 30mg Cymbalta. After 7 days I will go off of Celexa and be on 60mg of Cymbalta. The problem is I am so nauseated, shaky, sleep is sporadic and feel like I can't keep going. I want to be better so bad. But every day feels like an eternity. Can someone please give me hope of light at the end of the tunnel, that this will all be worth it? ## Hello, Sally! How are you? I'm sorry that you're so miserable. Yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel, but right now, you're dealing with withdrawal symptoms from one medication and the side effects of the new one. Thus, it isn't surprising that you feel the way you do. Rebound ...
I found a small peachy colored pill with only a C on one side and smooth on the other. It is not scored. Does anyone know what it is? ## It a 10 mg. anti depressant pill called celexa. It takes 2 to 4 weeks to build up in your system after the usual 1st time dosage for light weighted ppl. Your physician can dispense this up to a maximum dosage of 40 mgs daily which I've been taking for 2 years now and it works great, the only side effect is that you should try it at night 1st as for most ppl it will make you drowsy, however after awhile you might be able to build up a tolerability to take it in the morning..If a small dosage doesn't work for you, make sure that you tell your physician bc he can increase the dosage in intervals up to 40 mgs daily allowed by the FDA..I hope this hel...

OMG! Increased from 15mg to 20mg of brand Lexapro which I take prior to bed... My food cravings and appetite are through the roof after my dose. I want to eat in the middle of the night! It's off the chart crazy. I'm fine during the day. But NOT after my one evening dose! Any ideas to help me curb my middle of the night eatting ? ... chain myself to the bed, is all I have come up with. Sue ## Hi Susan, Something you might want to consider is adding more protein to your diet, since studies suggest that it can help curb your appetite and reduce snack bingeing throughout the day/night. I've also had success trying this out for myself and can vouch for how well a higher protein diet diminishes cravings. Since I eat primarily vegan, I tend to opt for plant-based protein powders a...

I have been on Welbutrin 150mg for a few years and may need to add another antidepressant now. 300 mg is too much for me and doesn't work. I was given Lexepro 10mg but do not want to continue with this drug. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I could take that wouldn't have the horrific side and withdrawal effects of Lexepro? My issue is depression. Appreciate any feedback. ## Hello, Cassie! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. What type of doctor are you consulting? I think a specialist would be best, because many of the other antidepressant react badly with the Wellbutrin, they tend to increase its toxicity, which could be dangerous. You might be able to aid a low dose of a medication like Abilify, which is approved to augment that act...
Hi I am 18 am was recently put on brintellix, it is my third day on it and I am experiencing a dull chest pain. But it is hard to tell if anything is wrong since. I also have anxiety disorder which sometimes gives me chest pain, but I am somewhat scared because I don't want it to be something serious. This is the second antidepressant I have been on. AnD I just want it to work, it is so hard..I feel like crying. I don't handle things like this very well and get stressed to the point of feeling physically ill. I just want to feel better.

She upped my dose to 120mg and recommended I tKe 1 in morning and 1 at night.. My brain zaps start around 3pm ## No, Cymbalta is not a narcotic. It contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, which the FDA classifies as an SNRI antidepressant. However, if you've been taking it for awhile, then some minor withdr...
VA doc has me on 2xwellbutrin hcl 150mg SA (VA Product)tabs a day - been on for 20 days. Side effects are kicking my butt. He said I can quit by taking 1 tab in the morning for 3 days and then just quitting - sounds 'cold turkey' to me. He also agreed that if I wanted to I could cut my dose back to a single tab in the AM. I see him again on June 9. Am I correct that 'SA' tabs cannot be divided? If I was going taper it seems that would be the way to go but I've read you not supposed to divide them. PERIOD! Also taking 2-1/2 5mg Valium tabs daily - will be dropping back to 2 a day in about 10 days ## Hello, Skip! How are you? That is correct, you cannot cut, crush or chew time released medications, because that could result in overdose from your getting too much of the...
I don't understand how a pharmaceutical co . Has a problem manufacturing meds. That is what I was told. I was taking Bupropion XL 150 mg (Anchen). The pharmacy wasn't able to get anymore of this. My Dr substituted Bupropion 100 mg x 2 a day (Mylan). I am having side effects that I never Had before. Can 50mg do that ? Anxiety, nervousness, trouble sleeping - all of which I never had before! Or could it be the difference between the 2 companies? Does anyone know how I could contact Anchen? Thanks ## Hello, Steff! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. There are two things going on here that could be contributing to your issue. One is the dosage change, that's going to cause more side effects, and the other is the formulation change, you went from...
I have been on VIIBRYID for two months and no help. Was on paxil over ten years but was on 60 mg for two years before switching. Reason for switching was due to post postpartum depression after my third child. I want to go back on paxil because it works for me but I would like some feedback on stopping and starting. I was tapered on paxil while tapering on to VIIBRYID but would there be a problem if I took 60 mg of paxil and just stop the 40 mg of VIIBRYID?? I have a Dr appointment tomorrow but just want others opinions.
Updated in Paxilneed reasons for 150 mg dosage and side effects ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Actually, 150mgs is not an approved dosage. The maximum daily dose of Fluoxetine is usually only 80mgs. This medication is an SSRI antidepressant and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and dry mouth. Learn more Fluoxetine details here. Has your doctor prescribed that high of a dosage? ## My daughter has been on 150 mg of Prozac for over a month and a half. Around that time she experienced stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, etc. and it hasn't stopped since. It occurred to me that it could be the dosage amount. When googling, everything says 80 mg is the highest dosage. Is this correct? If so she needs to stop immediately and I will report the doctor!
I've heard of this med and would like to try it but I don't know if I need a prescription ## Hello, Vicky! How are you? Yes, it requires a prescription from your doctor. Some of the ingredients you've listed are Amitriptyline, Meloxicam and Tramadol, the topi means its for topical use. I'm not sure what the Pril stands for, though. But this is a special product used for topical pain relief. A doctor prescribes it and the ratio of how much of each ingredient they want in the cream, then you'd have to take that prescription to a compounding pharmacy and they would specially make it for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects for such substances as possibly include skin irritation, redness, dryness, itching and rash. Is there anything else I can help with?
found on floor I think my cat may have had it in his mouth. ## Hi Kae, You had mentioned that the cat may have had it in his mouth. Do you think there's any possibility of there being a marking on the other side that could've faded due to this occurrence - perhaps also making the numbers difficult to accurately interpret? I only ask because the closest match I'm finding is a white round pill with "61 | 61" (scored down the center) on one side and a cursive-like "V" embedded on the other. If it's any consolation, this particular tablet reportedly contains 100mgs of Trazodone hydrochloride, used for treating insomnia. And for additional verification, the manufacturer is listed as Vintage Pharmaceuticals (also known as Qualitest). Does anyone else here recog...
What is this purple small round pill with a squiggley e and 415 underneath it. What's it used for? ## Hi, Dee! How are you? Bupropion is an antidepressant and smoking cessation aid. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, weight changes and hypertension. Learn more Bupropion details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My son has these in his drawer. I'm wondering if you can feel a high from them at all? He has taken Viagra previously and I read it is often used for that but there's no Rx with his name on the bottle which leads me to ask about a high as he is a drug user.
Hi Gang, I have ADD, a PhD and depression that seems to be rooted in the ADD... Like I have great ideas but 1. I disagree with myself about what to do first and 2. I have a hard time estimating time and so have a hard time organizing my days. On Wellbutrin 150 mg now for 1.5 months and I feel great, no big difference except some killer headaches at first and feeling thirsty a lot. Drinking water helps a lot! Haha. So I feel like I can plan my days better. I feel like "this afternoon" is a real thing, instead of this black hole in my mind. The days seem longer. And when I think back, each day feels like 3 days. Is thus the effect I am supposed to get? I feel like my ADD is being subtly molded into a manageable condition. ## Hey melster, that sounds promising. I also have add and ...
