I only take 15 mg of remeron each night before bed. I keep testing positive for THC. I do not smoke cannabis. Anybody have similar problems? ## I do. Changed pharmacies today and received the 10mg amitriptyline in blue. The first month I used this from the previous pharmacy the pill was pink. Is there any difference in the two? ## Put, pictures of amitriptyline 10mg, in Google. You should see a link to pictures. They do come in pink and blue and other colors. ## @Frankie, If you get them filled from a licensed pharmacy, odds are that the two medications contain the same active ingredients and dosage, but may have different binders/fillers. My mother is 80 years with Diabetes and BP (Both under control with regular medication) for over 2.5 decades. Added to this she is also a Parkinson patient and is on Syndopa 110 – 3.5 tablets & Syndopa CR 250 1.5 tablets. I have suffered from quite severe anxiety since losing my mother 2 years ago. I tried many SSRIS which I could not tolerate as I have a 7 and 12 year old to care for and these drugs made my anxiety skyrocket! I have been terrified to try anything else until a couple of weeks ago. I was suffering racing thoughts, physical symptoms and poor sleep and I was desperate. I have been prescribed Mirtazapine to help sleep and also for the low mood/anxiety. I started on 15 mg which immediately helped with my sleep. I had drowsiness for first few days but that went. I was on citalopram for nearly a year. They seemed to be working just fine for a while and then I noticed a gradual yet shocking change in my thinking and feeling. I had severe mood swings that could last for hours, days or weeks. I though more and more about killing myself and that no one around me understood. It caused havoc on my relationships, romantic and otherwise. I couldn't see how hard people were trying to help me. Female 67 years old diagnosed with severe o.a. of lumbar spine and hip who has involuntarily stopped Norco to treat pain. What are negative effects of treating pain with Suboxone while taking 100mg Nortriptiline at bedtime for depression? She lives a sedentary life w/o any exercise and a mitral valve that does not close completely with regurgitation and associated symptoms. ## Both medications can increase sedation, so she may experience a lot of drowsiness and dizziness, as listed by the FDA. Suboxone also does not always help everyone with pain, plus it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth and constipation. I just went in for a monthly drug screen for probation and there was a faint line for being positive for methamphetamine. I have been on 40 MGS of this for several months....I've experienced what I can only describe as brain zaps.....worse than the spins...almost like a convulsion. It happens when I lay down mostly...it is so bad it makes my arms jump around. Has anyone had this experience? I have generalized anxiety, adhd, bipolar type 1 and antisocial personality disorder. Long story short, after many years and various types of treatments, things got worse, so I have been off medications for nearly 2 years and regularly have marijuana to keep me sane as it is the only thing that makes me feel normal or relieves most of my symptoms. Can serotonin syndrome be caused by 20 mg of brintellix and 100 mg of seroquil? I am very sensitive to meds and any minor change in medication dosage. I am experiencing bad anxiety and agitation as well as severe diarrhea. Anything that I eat comes out the other way immediately as liquid. I have lost 5 pounds in 5 days. How? ## any one know bead method coming off Cymbalta 60 mg? ## I think I have actually heard of what you're describing, where you take out a specific number of beads from the capsule and gradually titrate the dosage down over time. Though the concept itself sounds easy and harmless, I don't have any personal experience in doing this and am generally not one to tamper with pills unless instructed by a doctor. So if you have a choice I would probably encourage you to follow a tapering schedule per a doctor's recommendation. He/she might be able to prescribe a lower dose as well to help bridge the gap between lower milligrams.
