I stopped taking Brintellix because I couldn't take the vomiting anymore and other issues that my doctor said were side effects of this medicine over the past 3 months and I just suddenly stopped taking it and now I'm experiencing extremely bad anxiety that I can't manage and can't sleep more than a few hours a night. I've been on 20mg Paxil/aropax (one per day) for 20 months now after suffering from bad anxiety and panic attacks. I've recently decided to come off it as I'm feeling really well. I went as saw my doctor who told me to lower my dosage to 10mg per day for a month then reassess after that. It's been 5 days and the withdrawals are horrible. I'm getting bad brains caps, dizziness, vertigo, nausea, insomnia. Do you think im lowering the dosage too quickly? And how long do the withdrawals usually last? Thanks. ## Hello, Joey! How are you? Yes, you may lose it, if the weight gain was solely due to the use of the Doxepin, the FDA does list it as being a possible side effect. However, if you are using Benadryl regularly, you may also gain weight from it, antihistamines are well known to cause that, as well as dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. So this is a little embarrassing, but I'm going crazy trying to figure it out, so I thought what the heck, let's see if anyone else has experienced this. 4 days ago I started taking Cymbalta for chronic back and tailbone pain. On the second day I noticed that I was having difficulty urinating, no pain...just took extra effort to get the flow started. In addition, I felt a real concerning discomfort in my groin and genitals whenever I was lying down. It's best described as a pressure and almost like the muscles there feel the need to contract and gives me the urge to flex. This has lasted all night for the past 3 days and has pretty much prevented me from getting more than an hour or two of sleep, despite taking pain killers. I was on Celexa for about 2 years, minimal weight gain, Dr switched me to Cymbalta in Oct to address menopausal symptoms. I feel great but have gained 15 pounds since October. I have been watching my diet faithfully, have completely cut out soda, potato chips, sweets - I am existing on cheerios for breakfast, fruit for lunch, and a sensible meal at dinner. I feel bloated and look pregnant. Will this weight go away if I stop cymbalta? This is ridiculous. None of my clothes fit anymore. ## Also I seem to be mixing up numbers and letters sometimes - almost like I've suddenly become dyslexic. And I get brain zaps about mid-afternoon every day. Hello! I recently was switched to the the Sun Pharma version of my Bupropion SR and wanted to know if anyone has experiened or heard of trouble with them. So far, they seem to be doing the job, but I recently have developed some upper (not stomach) abdominal pain which cannot be really pinpointed to anything. (Closest so far is a pinched nerve round the rib cage) Until recently I hadn't really concidered if the switch in medicine could be the reason. Any feedback on this brand's version of Wellbutrin? As a sidenote, I had been taking the Watson version(WPI 839)for about 2 -3 years with no problems, and previously had an extremely poor reaction to Teva (an extreme crash). Hi all, just wanted to let people know that this drug is horrible! I was on it for five years for neuropathic pain, look it was good for that ! But then I started suffering depression to the point of having to be hospitalized for suicidal thoughts, I couldn't sleep at nights and just felt like I was going crazy! Finally my psychologist said to go off these drugs, I was worried! Very worried in fact, because I knew what the effects were like even after missing a tablet one day. Please help me. At the moment i am on serdep, the sleep pill Arem, epleptin, vuzor, and high blood pressure tablets. I was in a clinic for depression. I'm still depressed. It's just I feel like I must go off all these medications. I think it's not good for the brain and it's all toxic to the body. Can you give advice?

My doctor switched me from Prozac 40 mg to Wellbutrin 150 mg. She had me take both, full strength, for a week together then stop taking the Prozac. Three days later small symptoms of anxiety started to show such as voice tics and nervousness. By day five I was experiencing something akin to electric shocks going through my body and I was in tears begging for help. My doctor said to stop the welbuutrin and start the prozac again. I did with no changes for three days. I called my psych doctor who was out on vacation and her nurse said to call my primary care. they are replacing my lexapro 10mg for this ## Why are they changing my Lexapro l0mg. to citalopram hbr 20 mgs. what does citalpram used for. ## What does the Hbr mean? ## Citalopram is also an antidepressant, a generic for Celexa. HBR just designated the type of drug salt. My son is using skizoril-50mg for the last 3 years. In june 2015 his doctor advised me to stop it. Again in december, he started having sleepless nights and i started giving it to him again. I DO NOT USE METHAMPHETAMINE!!!! I took a 5 panel drug test and I came up dirty for methamphetamine. They are doing a gas chromatology test on my sample. Will it prove I did not use methamphetamine, if I really did not use it? I am so scared because I do not take anything but celexa, wellbutrin, and neurontin for my depression and anxiety. I am floored because I am the last person that I thought would test positive for this. How accurate is the gas test and are there any instances where they make mistakes? How long before that result comes back? I am sick to my stomach because I am in school for court reporting and this will ruin my chances of getting a job and I did not even do anything wrong.
