i need to know why my right side of my body goes numb when i take the zoloft ## DOES IT GO NUMB WHEN YOU TAKE THE MED OR DOES IT HAPPEN WHEN YOU DO NOT TAKE? I never knew that there was an antidepressant that also could help alle...
Does an "A59" pink oval pill have the same effect as Klonopin for your anxiety and depression? Does it give you the same effect? ## Hi Daisy, A pink oval pill marked A59 is reportedly identified as Paroxetine hydrochloride 40 mg. This medication is marketed for use in treating depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other related conditions. As far as determining how it compares to Klonopin, something to note is that they are in two different drug classifications and have a different mechanism of action by which they work in our bodies. According to medlineplus.gov, Paroxetine is in a class of medications called selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It treats depression and other mental illnesses by increasing the amount of serotonin, a ...

I have been on fluoxetine for eight months. I am on 40 mg/day. I've always been prone to sinus infections, but my sinus problems have gotten worse and now I have this pain in my sinuses everyday. I realized that I started having worse sinus issues around the same time I started taking fluoxetine - its even documented in my doctor's notes that I have been complaining of sinus pains and infections since about 7 months ago. She says it's a rare side effect so fluoxetine is probably not the culprit, but the sinus pain has gotten so bad that I'm willing to stop taking the meds (the other side effects like the nightmares are driving me nuts too). Anyway, has anyone else had sinus problems related to fluoxetine or Prozac? ## Hello, Alaska! How are you? Actually, they aren't...
I have never been successful on the Aurobindo Venlafaxine. I have tried a combo of Teva (150mg) and Zylus (37.5 mg) for 30 days to great success. I want to take the generic version as the brand is over $1000 for 90-days, with insurance. I got the 30-day's worth locally at Publix to try it. Now I’ve received the 90-day prescription from the mail and it’s the Aurobindo brand. Could there be a difference? The one thing my dr is doing this time is she has increased the dosage by 37.5 mg. I don’t know if that is why it’s working or if it’s that it’s NOT the Aurobindo brand? I would greatly appreciate any opinions. ## How much difference is GENERIC FROM BRAND IN STRENGTH ETC? ## I'm not familiar with that brand of medication but I do know that every...
Hi, I've been taking Paxil 30 mg. Twice daily for approximately close to 20 years now. I feel like I need a medication to take with Paxil at this point to be beneficial to me as my depression & anxiety are worse than other times. Does anyone know of a supplement that will help and that I can safely take with Paxil? Maybe another anti depressant to go with my Paxil as I do not want to stop the Paxil. ## Have you discussed this issue with your doctor? It is entirely normal for your body to get used to a medication that you take regularly, and for it to stop working as well. The time frame can vary from person to person. When this happens, you usually do need to try a different medication, or a different dosage of the existing medication. The FDA lists the typical side effects of P...
Generic bupropion 75mg lavender tablet with gg 929 markings was miraculous for me. And i felt the antidepressant success almost immediately. Then i felt a need to increase to 150 mg by taking a second one 6 to 12 hrs later. I was also using percocet 5, prescribed for severe chronic pain. Suddenly, although weakened by running out of the percocet 5's, I FELT LIKE I WAS WEAKENED AND EXHAUSTED. COULD THIS BE A TEMPORARY SIDE EFFECT OF GENERIC WELLBUTRIN? The first time i took bupropion i experienced an increased energy level but i was taking percocet 5 for pain as well. ## Both Percocet, and Wellbutrin may cause tiredness, weakness, and drowsiness as side effects, they can also cause them as withdrawal effects. Ref: Percocet Information and Wellbutrin Information. That means it's d...

I have struggled with depression for most of my life, and am always in search of the perfect antidepressant. I work with a psych doctor who is always willing to try new things. 10 months ago I started 5 mg of Brintellix daily, within a week my mood was significantly elevated, I was sleeping better, waking up much earlier and was more motivated to do things in the morning. I went up to 10mg daily However the nausea was dreadful! I pushed through for a couple of weeks, changed to taking the brintellix at night and after a while it subsided. My mood got better and better, I had recently turned 50, and had gained a little weight, so with my new found morning energy I started working out 2times a week with a trainer, and then walking most other mornings! The walking then changed gradually to...
I have been on Viibryd 40 mg almost since the first day it came out and was one of the lab rats when it was in clinical trials. I loved it because it made me feel normal. I have noticed though for about 18 months I have issues with leg swelling, water retention and significant abdominal bloat that won't go away. I am going to try going down to 20 mg. Any one else have these issues? Did they get better with a reduced dose? I hate to go off because I feel awake and not experiencing almost nonfunctional exhaustion with terrible allergies and weird aches and pains I have without it. No other med besides Viibryd has ever really helped. Any ideas? ## Hello, Susan! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Is this the only medication that you're on? Ho...
I recently was prescribed Trintellix by my psychiatrist for anxiety and depression. I told her I cannot be on a medication that will cause weight gain and or fluid retention. Since starting this medication I've been on it for two days I feel really weird, lazy and like I just don't want to do anything. Low mood. I honestly have zero appetite, and my cognitive thinking is very slow. I honestly feel like I am on a super low dose of Vyvanse. She also gave me samples of Viibryd but I heard that medication is notorious for weight gain on here and I am scared to take it. Did anyone else have these side effects when starting this medication? Did they go away? Also, if this isn't the medication for me, does anyone else know what others are good that will not cause horrible weight ga...

I have Sciatica, Spondeliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease and Fibromyalgia in both my hips & legs, I have had 3 sets of nerve blocker injections that did not help. I had a herniated disc, in my lower back, (scar tissue has entrapped nerve in it), intractable back pain, I have been falling a lot at home or if I am out somewhere. I get very confused and short term memory is really getting bad which is a symptom of Fibromyalgia, I don't want to go anywhere, I rarely see my friends. I feel like my feet and legs are running and my body is not catching up. I have also last year had left shoulder surgery for small tear in rotator cuff, bone spurs leaning on rotator cuff, osteoarthritis and fluid around the arthritis, 1 month after this surgery: I have what feels like electricity shocks ...
Has anyone had a problem when having to switch their medication to another manufacturer? For the past 4 months I have SUCCESSFULLY been taking Bupropion SR 150 Mg manufactured by Mylan, sold by CVS (it is a light green round pill).....Unfortunately, my insurance recently forced me to go through Medco mail order and I received dark purple round pills manufactured by SANDOZ. Since taking these purple pills I have become sick daily. I have been experienced nausea, not seeing clearly (double vision or something weird like that), vertigo, motionsickness, extreme temperature fluctuations, not being able to concentrate, etc, etc, etc..... So I immediately switched back to purchasing this medication from CVS (Mylan) and my nasty symptoms disipated quickly and I am back to "me" again! My...
Hello. I took lexapro 7 years ago for about a year. My question is that I noticed shortley to getting off of it, my hair started thining. I had very thick coarse blonde hair prior. More recently with my now thin head of hair I have noticed it does not seem to grow... It's horrible!!!! I don't want to bash lexapro because I'm certain it gave me my life back and helped my anxiety more than I could hope for. But my hair??? HELP, anyone??? ## Even if it was caused by the Lexapro, it isn't likely that it would persist for so long after you've stopped taking it. Most such side effects wear off as the medication leaves your body. Learn more Lexapro details here. There are, however, other things that can cause hair loss. Have you consulted your doctor about it? It may be due...
My boyfriend was on Zoloft 50mg when we met. Very loving and in love with me. Life was going great so he quit taking it in October. He decided to go back on a week and half ago. He didn’t ease into dosage. Took two days of 25mg and then went full blast to 50mg last Tuesday. He gradually distanced himself from me. Now a week later he is completely withdrawn from me and won’t talk to me or tell me how he is feeling. I have his location and see he is going to work. Can someone tell me if he will come back around? Maybe what his thought processes are? Is this normal? How long will it last? I want to be there for him but at the same time my emotional well being is at stake with his complete 180 of affection and attention toward me. ## Has anything changed? Has he talked to you, y...
Has anyone tried Bupropion XL 300 by Lupin - a round pill marked L016? Just received these from Walgreen's internet pharmacy and I'm very concerned. I started taking this medication about two years ago, the PAR generic, and everything was great. Then, CVS changed to Cipla and things got bad -- it was only thanks to rxchat that I figured out the problem was caused by the new manufacturer. So, I switched to Walgreens, which had Actavis. It was so much better for me than Cipla but not quite as good as PAR. Quite by accident, I found that when ordering from Walgreen's internet pharmacy I got the med manufactured by PAR. All's been good for many months... until I just opened my newest prescription and found it's by a newly approved generic by Lupin. Hopefully it will be f...
