I began the starter pack with 10mg for 2 weeks and then moved up to 20mg for 2 weeks. I experienced the WORST ever side affects from an anxiety drug. I have taken many, and this was unbearable. It caused extreme muscle fatigue to the point that it was difficult to move my arms or legs, and increased my appetite, due to the stomach side affects. Food eased the stomach cramps. The worst side affect was my blood pressure was scary high and my heart beat became irregular and fast. After mentioning these things, I was switched over to Effexor - SOOOO MUCH BETTER!! ## I have been on this for about 2 months and have AWFUL muscle pain in my legs, arms and back. How long do I have to be off this before these side effects go away? These are not the only side effects I have but definately the ones...

Trouble getting Pamelor, brand name. pharmacy that I have been using will not give me the 3 month supply any more. Charging me for the one month the same price as for 3 mo. $650.00. Need to identify there is a citalopram that is an oval white tablet imprinted IB 54. ## The Citalopram tablet that matches this description has a marking of IP 54 and it contains 40mgs of the medication. I am currently taking two Wellbutrin XL 150 mg in the morning, around 8:00am. I take it for extreme fatigue. By 6:00pm I'm ready for bed, tired. Was wondering if I could take a Wellbutrin 150mg SR around 5:00pm would that help me get through the evening? ## It's been prescribed to you for fatigue? Hi I am 23 years old and married. I am on Cilift and urbanol for 1 year and 3months. Before I started using these meds, I weighed 60kilos. After 1year I am 83kg and have no sex drive and I am depro because of my wieght. I gym 3times a week and cycle 40-60kilos a weekend. Please Help! Beige oblong tablet, scored, 9 and 0 on the scored side and A on the reverse. Told it was citalopram 20mg but doesn't look like the usual tablet. ## The marking is actually A 06 and the tablet does contain 20mgs of Citalopram, the active ingredient in Celexa, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Since it is a generic, that means it is manufactured by several different companies and according to law, each tablet has to have unique markings to enable its identification and there are no guidelines on how they have to look. Does any one else with treatment resistant major depression have the same problem? It's making my anxiety through the roof. I didn't have anxiety before I was put on 25mg of Zoloft. It's horrible I feel like I'm having a heart attack and my jaw is clenched so tight I'm taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours with not much relief. When are doctors gonna realize, SSRI meds do NOT work for everyone and when I say I've already tried 25 meds for this & they didn't work, things aren't gonna suddenly change the second time around?? I have been taking 300mg Wellbutrin/generic bupropion for just over 3 years now. After about a year of taking it I forgot the medication for a few days and those were such bad days. Because of that, even though I felt my depression had ended, I was too afraid to stop taking it. Over the past 3 or 4 months I have felt my depression return, even though I am still taking bupropion. I can't remember when I was switched to the generic bupropion, but it was probably within the first year. Could this have something to do with the return of my depression? Has anyone else had problems with the generic not working? or with it not working when taken over long periods of time? Maybe an increase in the dosage will help? or a switch back to Wellbutrin? or a new medication altogether? Any thoughts...

I have been taking 60mg generic Prozac for about six months. These days I'm feeling like it's not quite controlling my depression. With my doctor's permission I tried raising the dose to 80mg and it caused me to sleep straight through the entire day. Does anyone know of another antidepressant that might work with prozac but not knock me out? Paxil was wonderful but stopped working after about 3 years as well as wellbutrin and zoloft......all taken by themselves. my husband has been on Cymbalta for almost a month now, his depression is getting better even though he still has his highs and lows.The only complaint he has is the bitter aftertaste that is with him always,has anyone experienced this and know of anyway to get rid of it? ## That's not listed as a common side effect of the medication. I work for the Federal Goverment and am being told that we will be subject now for urine test that will be looking for prescription drug use. I need to inform them of my prescribed drugs. I have never told them of my 20 Mg of Citalopram I take due to possible job loss for taking the drug. Will it show up on a pee test? ## Why would you lose your job for taking Citalopram?
