Verifying A Pill

I have a small burgundy round tablet with "M"and 36 under the "M". Can you help w/this? I was told it might be Elavil. Thank you.

That is correct, this tablet contains 50mgs of Amitriptyline, which is a generic for Elavil, it is an antidepressant that also has other medical uses.
