I have started taking pristiq about 6 weeks ago and I have noticed in the last week or so that I have been extremely fatigued. Could this be due to the pristiq? ## Pristiq contains the active ingredient Desvenlafaxine, it is an SNRI class antidepressant and yes, it can cause drowsiness and fatigue as a side effect. Generally, side effects should hit their peak around 4 to 6 weeks of use, the time it usually takes for a medication to reach its full effectiveness in the body. After that, they should start to taper off in severity, as your body gets used to the medication. However, if it is a severe problem, then you should contact your doctor, as this may not be the right medication for you. Learn more: Are there any other questions? ## i know this is a old post but i been on pristiq near...

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety over 2 years ago and was initially put on 50 mg then increased to 100 mg. I felt very stable initially but over the past few months have been having some issue to time. For example when I create a flyer which should only take me 30 minutes and before I know it 2 hours have passed. I also seem to be having problems rationalising things and sequencing. Has anyone else experienced these problems? My doctor's response was to increase my dosage to 200mg. ## What type of doctor are you consulting? Just a general practitioner or a specialist? Learn more Pristiq details here. In this case, these problems could be serious issues that can affect many aspects of your life and work, so I think you'd be best advised to see a specialist, such as a m...

Which drugs will really help? I have been using Cymbalta 60mg and Welbutrin 300mg for about 7 yrs and have hit a low and have had 100mg Serez added? Will it help if Wellbutrin gets removed and replaced with 200mg Serez? ## I wish I could help answer your question, but unfortunately there's really no honest way of knowing ahead of time how any medication will end up effecting you without any prior knowledge of your medical history, and other individual factors that help determine which medication is more likely to work. However, judging from the reviews on this site, "generic" Wellbutrin (Bupropion) seems to be a popular choice for many patients. Maybe just switching to another brand of it may be helpful? I'm reading a lot about how different versions of the same medicati...

Rugby 3893 small capsule - dark green/light green ## Hi Kay, Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is a dark/light green capsule imprinted with "RUGBY 3737"; which is identified as Doxepin HCl 75 mg. I know it doesn't completely match up with the numbers you mentioned, but I can at least determine that the manufacturer is the same (Rugby Pharmaceuticals). Is it possible to have a severe reaction after a single dose? I had taken my first dosage with my evening meal. I went out that evening and had some wine and I became very aggressive. ## Of course it is, it's possible with any medication, just like someone can have an allergic reaction or experience side effects with just one dose. The alcohol likely contributed, because it can worsen the side effects of most medications. Do you drink frequently? If so, this may continue to be a problem, so you might have to discuss it with your doctor and try a different medication.

I've only taken Cymbalta twice. The first time I cussed out a guy at an online forum. The second time I woke up the next morning mad as hell. If I'm getting this from only taking this stuff a few times then I'm not taking anymore. ## Hi, Buddy! Sorry about the issues you've had. Yes, while the monographs usually only list the black box warning about the possibility of suffering suicidal thoughts, these types of medications are actually known to have the opposite of their intended effect in a number of ways, in some people that take them. I've had it happen myself, with a couple medications that I tried to relieve some temporary anxiety I was having last year. However, it doesn't mean that all of them will cause you the same problem, so you should talk to your doc...

what happens if you stop taking celexa cold turkey if yoy have been on it for about a year ## Usually with drugs like this you do want to taper off gradually to avoid undergoing heavy withdrawal symptoms, after being on it for a year. I am not a medical professional though, so you should always consult with your doctor during this process to be on the safe side. For more specific details on others personal experiences with Celexa, I'd also check out the discussion thread link below: Discuss/Coming-off-of-Celexa-241032.htm Hope this helps!

Im now on 150mg of Wellbutrin (since June 2012) plus 10mg of Lexamil (since April 2013). Since i added Lexamil to my meds about a month ago i've noticed that i'm having a thick, foamy light-greenish smelly vaginal discharge. The smell is not too bad but it is there and i dont like it.
