My mom is 78 and recently started with panic attacks and depression. Her doc put her on Cilift. She has been on for 2 weeks now and still no change except her hands shake and she is at time neaseous. How long till the Cilift kicks in and will the symptoms/side effects go away. She has high blood pressure which is being treated. Thank you ## This is Citalopram an antidepressant. I started on a course of Bup. XL of 150 mg for the first week and then double that the second week. Mornings which had been so difficult for me were great, but when I switched to the 300, I had terrible insomnia, and trouble reading. So the doctor switched me to Bup. SR 200 mg, and I am back to exhausted again. I have plenty of the XL left and am considering switching back and maybe cutting the second pill in half. Have been on 150mg for a while, now back on 50mg. I eat we'll and do ww but weights crept up, has anyone else found they gained weight and is it easy to still loose it x ## Hi Sara, Based on my research, "changes in weight" is listed as a general side effect of Sertraline. This could mean that it causes your weight to fluctuate up or down without any prior warning. Because this side effect can be unpredictable, it's not really something you can control outside of what you're already doing (exercising regularly and eating well). If it were me, I'd probably be focused on a lower fat diet and cutting out all refined sugars to help combat it as much as possible. I was put on mirtazapine due to weight loss and am coming off it. IT is a difficult drug to come off and I am going through hell. They do not tell you what will happen if you decide to want to come off them because in their eyes you are not supposed to come off. so be wary before taking them I wish I had not ## I'm sorry about the problems you are experiencing. Dear Sir, i am using nexito 20 mg in India whose contents are escitalopram 20 mg (escitalopram oxalate IP) and asked for an alternate in Mauritius and iam suggested to go for Estop 20 mg which is similar. Can i go for the same. Pls advise so that i can discuss this drug with my doctor in India.

Anxiety is a problem I have. I had it for 2 years.im 43 now.i didn't know what was going on with me.i went for medical advice. I told them my problems(fast heart rate.head numb,nervous.). And it would last for 4to 5 daystheweird thing is .when I wakeup I have anxiety all day.around 730 at night it magically goes away.weird.i taken 60 mg of remeron .it was way to much I cut down to 7.5mg in the morning and 15mg at night. I just started buspar 5 mg three times a day.i seemed to keep going to the benzos they work good but I know I will have keep taking higher dosages cause you get used to it and its been hard getting off them.how can I knock the anxiety out any advice.That fact that it goes away at night usually when it starts getting dark. White (possibly a very light yellow), Oblong (similar to the size of a citalopram pill), there is a 15 on the top of the pill, centered in the middle of the pill; also it has a | (A.K.A. a score mark). There are no other markings on this pill. I got it for severe back pain from my sister, who got it from her friend. It makes me feel like I am on heroin or other strong opiates (feels much stronger than the Percocet 10's I was given for after wisdom tooth extraction) also there appears to be some medium to o o medium-fast tracers. When combined, they each increase the toxicity of each other, which could cause a dangerous reaction just like that of an overdose. Can Sertraline 100 mg tablets be cut in to four pieces and still be effective? My doctor has given me the okay to try different dosages. 50 mg is not enough and I would like to try 75 mg but Sertraline does not come in that dosage. I have 100 mg tablets and want to break them in half and then cut some of the havles in half to get 75 mg. Will doing this cause a problem with how effective the medication is? ## There is nothing special about the tablets that will affect the medication if you cut them further, as long as your doctor has okayed it. Hi , I am on lots of medication And take Amitryptiline 75 grammes nightly to help me sleep; somtimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I take cipralex for depression. Do they conflict? I thought I was losing my mind until I read the posts about the side effects. I've been on 40 mg Viibryd for at least 6 months and it WAS working for anxiety and depression but it seems to have stopped working as well. The side effects of night sweats, sleep paralysis, and especially the 'brain zaps'...that one really knocked me for a loop b/c I thought I was losing it. I haven't really slept well for months b/c of the side effects but am going to talk to my Doctor now. How bad are the withdrawal symptoms? I only missed my dose by a few hours. I lied down to go to bed and it was like I was tripping on hallucinogens. Everything I saw in this dream-like state was in a honeycomb type pattern and at one point I thought I was turning into a spider, at another I thought the covers were suffocating me and I was fighting to get them off and screaming for my husband to help me, but in reality I was just dreaming but could not wake up. When I finally did get up I called the pharmacist and told her what happened and asked if I could just stop taking the meds. Hi, I ran out of prescription, can't get to my doc to get a new one and have no tablets left = Cold Turkey on the Pristiq I was hoping to come off soon anyway. I have done a lot of research on this drug all over the internet for the last week because it's been the absolute worst week of my life. I started taking Viibryd 3 weeks ago for generalized anxiety disorder. I have previously been on effexor for 2 years, took 2 years off any medication, and then recently needed to start medication again. The first week, i had the typical side effects. Nausea, high energy, and insomnia. I knew that my body had to get used to it.
