Struggling To Loose Weight

Have been on 150mg for a while, now back on 50mg. I eat we'll and do ww but weights crept up, has anyone else found they gained weight and is it easy to still loose it x

Hi Sara,

Based on my research, "changes in weight" is listed as a general side effect of Sertraline. This could mean that it causes your weight to fluctuate up or down without any prior warning.

Because this side effect can be unpredictable, it's not really something you can control outside of what you're already doing (exercising regularly and eating well). If it were me, I'd probably be focused on a lower fat diet and cutting out all refined sugars to help combat it as much as possible. But one can only do so much when the medication you're taking is going against your very efforts.
