Beginning To Wonder About This 'wonder Drug'

I thought I was losing my mind until I read the posts about the side effects. I've been on 40 mg Viibryd for at least 6 months and it WAS working for anxiety and depression but it seems to have stopped working as well. The side effects of night sweats, sleep paralysis, and especially the 'brain zaps'...that one really knocked me for a loop b/c I thought I was losing it. I haven't really slept well for months b/c of the side effects but am going to talk to my Doctor now. How bad are the withdrawal symptoms? Worse than the side effects are currently?

Many of those who have complained about the withdrawal symptoms list them as being very similar to the side effects you've mentioned.

The best way to usually stop these types of medications is to slowly taper off of them and your doctor should be able to help you with that.
