Anger

I've only taken Cymbalta twice. The first time I cussed out a guy at an online forum. The second time I woke up the next morning mad as hell. If I'm getting this from only taking this stuff a few times then I'm not taking anymore.

Sorry about the issues you've had.

Yes, while the monographs usually only list the black box warning about the possibility of suffering suicidal thoughts, these types of medications are actually known to have the opposite of their intended effect in a number of ways, in some people that take them.

I've had it happen myself, with a couple medications that I tried to relieve some temporary anxiety I was having last year.

However, it doesn't mean that all of them will cause you the same problem, so you should talk to your doctor about trying something else.

As an example, I did okay with Ativan, but had issues with Xanax and years ago, I was okay with Zoloft, but not with Cymbalta.
