I am currently prescribed Lamictal for bi-polar disorder. I am getting my wisdom teeth out quite soon and as told by doctor, will probably be given vicodin for the pain. Does anyone know if there is any serious reactions being on both things? ## i am prescribed both daily and have no problems at all,,,,,,,,,, ## I would not take them together (ie., at the same time). I would try to put a two or three hour spread between them. Also split Lamictal dose if your pdoc says it is alright- take 1/2 your daily dose in the AM and 1/2 in the PM. The hydrocodone may not have the full pain management effect depending on your lamictal dosage. If in doubt, always ask your PHARMACIST. They can look up drug interactions and recommendations easily.

i feel for 24 hours burning and ache in both my legs and numbness in both my hands for around 2 years, i am taking now Nurobeon (Gabatrex - Gabapentin) and also i tried Lyrica but in vein. i have been advised to take Neucleo C.M.P forte as a course (needles for six days and afterwards tablets for one month. Can this drug cause some one to bruise on any part of thier body. The patient is taking meds for pais with cancer. ## Neurontin contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, it is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. It is possible that the bruising can be due to the Neurontin, but with such a medical condition, I am sure they are also on other medications/treatments, so it is very important that the patient's doctor be consulted to determine the problem. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. In other words it is considered to be safe to take these together. I would however recommend that you don't take prescription fat burners, just because of the side effects. I have been taking Neurontin and Lyraca together for six months, with no pain reduction. My Dr. recently suggested eliminating Neurontin and taking Lyraca only. I was told that Neurontin and Lyraca taken together "cancel each other out". I am currently taking 1-100mg of lamictal once a day, 1-25mg of celexa a day, and 1-.25mg of xanax 3-4 times a day. Is it safe to also take the 1-25mg of hydroxyz pam for sleeping at night? ## Have you consulted your doctor about this? The interaction that I'm finding listed is between the Xanax and the Hydroxyzine, since they both can cause depression of the central nervous system, combining them can increase the risk of that occurring. CNS depression could result in shallow breathing, lowered pulse rate, severe sedation and, in extreme cases, completely circulatory/respiratory shut down.
