How often do I give gabapentin to my dog? She is 35 pounds. Do I give it to her every 8 hours? ## Please please please have your vet prescribe your dogs dosage and don't try to go it on your own! Human gabapentin has xylitol in it and is TOXIC to dogs!!!!!! ## Ps normal dosage is 1.4 mg for every pound your dog weighs once per day- again NOT human gabapentin. ## My dog is very stiff in the morning and has a hard time moving for 2hrs. My dog is also on four meds for heart disease. I'm afraid gabapentin might do more harm than good. My dog is 13 pounds, age 12-14 not sure. What do you think I should do?Thanks.

I have these white capsule pills that I was told is gabapentin. Anyone ever see these before? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? If there are no markings, it is most likely an over the counter product, since the FDA requires all manufactured prescription products to have unique imprints to enable their identification. Although, there is also a small change that it could be a foreign medication. Is anyone else familiar with these capsules?

I'm a 25 year old girl, having lavera xr 500 and alporate 500 since 2009....I want to know more about its side effects......is it very harmful? ## My wife is using lavera 500 in the morning and lavera 750 in the evening. does vimpat contain sulfa? ## My wife was just recently put on Vimpat. She is on Depacote ER and Vimpat is supose to be in addition to it. A piggy back med. She has broken out in hives with several other meds. She just asked me if it looks like she is breaking out again. She does have a couple small pimple like spots, but nothing like the other times. My question is, is Vimpat a Sulfa based med? Thank You for your help. ## Does company contain sulphide or similar? Is the prescription drug Trileptal or its generic a blood thinner? ## Regarding a generic form of Trileptal: are any made that are white capsules? I was told the manufacturer of this specific generic was caraco, however no one has ever heard of a 'generic Trileptal' capsule that is all white. Solid Orange Cap with large E94 on gabapentin SAN 400 mg. Gabapentin APO 400 mg is a white on one end and orange color on other end. They are used for nerve pain ## I think it's just the different drug company put I wil tell u when i went from 400mg of the APO kind which was a cap then went 2 800mgs the were'nt they were big horse pills and and 400 worked better. I am prescribed lamotrigine, buspirone, lexapro, abilify, diazepam, naproxen, hydrocodone, mehylphenidate, nuvigil and sudogest. My dr did a urine test and sent it off to the lab who says it tested positive for phentermine. Only side effect I'm having is crazy itching from head to toe. On gabapentin 300mg 2xs a day for 4 months due to nerve pain for carpal tunnel both hands. GABA did not help pain but helped me sleep. Had surgery last month, wanted to stop since sleeping better. But now I read here that some folks ARE having itching too! What can I take to help? ## Some antihistamines may help, if you're allowed to take them, or a hydrocortisone cream. But really, it's just going to take time for this withdrawal effect to wear off and go away on its own. You may also experience depression, anxiety and diarrhea. After trying two antidepressants and multiple therapists, my doctor has decided to prescribe me Topamax for my binge eating disorder. I used to also be bulimic, but thanks to therapy have ceased purging for about six months now. I wanted to get feedback from those whose have been prescribed Tomamax for binge eating disorder and/or bulimia. My binging includes consuming anything edible, including expired items in the trash and edible vitamins/supplements/spices, so it is a very serious case. I have been taking Keppra for a few years. Within the first year I had a sleepwalking experience where I literally woke up not where I went to bed on my feet. I have been told I have been sleepwalking a few times now and I'm going to see my neurologist tomorrow. Has anybody else had issues like this? I take 100mg each night to allow myself a nights sleep without my mind racing through thoughts. My neurologist said the only side affect is sleep. Was I too trusting. ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? I tried gabapentin 300mg. (instead of Lyrica 50mg.) the first time I used it, it made my heart pound so bad I could not use it, could I use a smaller mgs. of gabapentin. How many 100 mg Gabapentin capsules equal 600 mg capsules of Lyrica? I'm in the process of changing Primary Care Physicians and will not have enough Lyrica to last until my new patient appointment. However I do have a number of Gabapentin capsules left over from when I was using them. I have been on Lamictal 50 mg and have recently gone up to 150 mg a day. I have been experiencing numbness, tingling, and loss of strength in my left arm and left leg only. Has any one else had similar side effects? ## You don't say why doctor prescribed Lamictal. I'm on 100 mg for hemiplegic migraines. Left side is weak and right side is numb. I have been using lamictal for about 5 months now and my reflux seems to be getting worse. I have had reflux for years but it has been controled well on zegerid up intill now. Has anyone heard of this reaction. ## Lamictal contains the active ingredient Lamotigrine, it's an anticonvulsant used to treat BiPolar disorder and seizures. Acid reflux is not listed as a commonly known side effect, however, some medications can make it worse or irritate it. Have you tried speaking to your doctor about this? ## Have an appointment with my GI doctor on Tuesday the 24th. I have intentions of talking to her then. I have found that I have put on xtra weight and that sleeping at night has become a problem.
