i have tested positive on 2 urine tests 2 weeks apart for opiates for parole.The meds i take are trileptal 300mg,wellbutren 300mg,visterial 800mg,abilify 5mg,trazadone 100mg and zantac{rantitdine 300mg] ...i have been vialated for opiates and have not taken any.Can the combonation of these be the cause and how can i prove it.PLEASE HELP..i did not do any thing intentionately and my life is on the line. ## Dont feel bad apparently this is common. Neurontin (Gabapentin) has shown up 2-3 times on my daughters urine drug screens. I know she is not taking them. I will pay for a hair test if it can go back a few months and pick up neurontin to prove these urine tests are a mistake. ## The only lab I know that would have a hair drug test for Neurontin is national medical services in pa. Was the test your daughter took a urine dip test, like you use at home, or was it an actual lab test?? Which drug gave a false positive?? Any time a drug is positive it should be sent to a lab for GC/MS confirmation. Did your daughter sign a chain of custody form and initial a sticker that goes over the lid of a urine specimen container?? Can you take the Cor 116 Acetaminophen & Gabapentin together? I'm in drug court and get 5 panel strip tested at random. I've been taking Gabapentin the past few days and passed my strip test yesterday. I was recently prescribed 25mg 1x daily to aid in weight loss. After 4 weeks of taking the medication with no side effects, this past weekend I noticed blurriness in the eyes and trails when I turned my head from left to right. I've also been having a tough time just focusing on objects. I've now been off of the medication for 4 days.Since then I've been to my eye doctor, had a full dilation, exam, etc. My eyes, optic nerves, etc. are all 100% healthy. Can taking alcohol and Gabapentin kill you? ## Hello, Cupcake! How are you? It would depend on several factors, such as how much of each was involved, the person's overall health, prior liver damage if any and etc. So, theoretically, it is possible, but most likely wouldn't happen to a normal, healthy person who has just taken a prescribed dose of the medication and has one drink… but it could still make them very ill. It is best to avoid combining alcohol with any prescription medication, as a general rule and don't drink, unless your doctor says that it is safe for you to have a couple. My husband has been taking Gabapentin 900 for quite some time now but he won't stop drinking (he has cirrhosis).. He will even take the medicine with beer. He has experienced a lot of symptoms but he blames the pill and not the beer, but i know an alcoholic is like that ... He won't admit it. does gabapentin show the following day in a drug screen when taking suboxone? ## They usually test only for drugs they suspect you may be abusing. So unless they think you are abusing gabapentin or pregablin, they may test. If not, it's doubtful.

Why would my doctor prescribe gabapentin when my blood pressure is difficult to control? It's 100/150 at times. I was complaining to my Dr that my hands are becoming difficult to control; I drop & throw things. My son is advised to take these medications life long. He had no seizure for more than a year, but has had one this August. He complained of pain in his chest and he is fussy about food and looks generally weak and pale. Could these symptoms be side effects of the meds he is on?

Dr suggested me to take gabapentin for cervical spondylosis now I am better than privious dr suggested to continue medicin for 3 months is it safe ## You should take either medication as directed by your doctor and for the duration of time they recommend. Hello. I am currently under uva pain management and I'm miserable with these doctors. I never see the same dr and I am in different meds for my spine, hips, and severe nerve pain in my hips, legs, neck, shoulder and arm. Numbness in toes getting worse, when I'm on my feet longer than ten min, and loss of feeling in right hand in ring finger and pinky. I have tried gabapentin before and I told the dr it doesn't work yet they prescibed it anyways, along with baclofen 10mg 3 Times daily, diclofenac 75 mg twice a day, gabapentin 600mg 3 Times a day. Heres my issue, I am in severe pain. I cannot keep up with my kids like I wld like to, I am still not to familiar with this area but I need a doc who doesn't treat me as if I am an annoyance, a "junkie" bc I am in legitim...
