Yeah I've developed a staph infection and I got Bactrim DS for it I got 30 tablets but my doctor told me to use it for a week and then stop using it and the pharmacist messed up and put on there take one tablet a day and I think it's supposed to be take two tablets by mouth once a day. So I mean I don't have any more staph infections or anything but they come back quite regularly so because I've got hepatitis c. So I know now that next time I need to take two bactrim a day instead of one. But my question is do I take all 30 pills I mean I stopped taking it a week ago I did what he told me to do what I thought I was supposed to do but then I called his nurse up and she said that I should have taken all 30 that seems like a lot of antibiotics to be taken for a staph infect...

I started taking this medication on Fri a week ago. I took my last pill thursday morning. the incision scar from my knee replacements are all red and inflamed. My knees feel warm. Is this a bad reaction or what is going on. ## Hello, Sivrfox! How are you? I think you need to see your doctor, as soon as possible. full hip replacement booked for 7th september and i got infection in a rotten tooth, dentist prescribed amoxycillin . on completion of course , went back and asked for another x ray and letter for hospital to confirm the infection has gone. dentist says thats not posslble as infection still there until tooth extracted, The initial infection was around the periphery of the root. I was under the impression the amoxycillin would kill that infection. Now surgeon will not operate until i have letter from someone to say i have no infection .I am wondering if its worth going to another dentist. what would you reccomend in order for my operation to get underway as soon as possible? Doctor had prescribed cefixime and potassium clavulanate for oral suspension, combiflam, cetrison60ml for my younger sister who is 7 year old I have given her all this medicine as doctor said but her fever haven't turn down and she is having bad headache. Her body temperature is high so as her head temperature too much scare what should I do ??? ## How long have you been giving her the medication? Two weeks back I was sick then I drank antibiotics then my periods came for two weeks so after 3days they've stopped.I started getting sick again on Friday couldn't do anything then on Sunday I too 500g betamox now i'm worried my periods started n a bit of a blood when coughing.at first I was using 250g ## What symptoms were you experiencing that made you think you needed to take antibiotics? I have been on sulfameth 800mg for 5 days.. It doesn't seem like it's helping this staph infection.. I'm taking 2 a day every 12hrs. I'm prescribed for 10 days.. Should I be concerned that I haven't seen results? Should I stop use? Hi. My 2 and a half year old son was prescribed amoxicillin by a doctor at the hospital. I know he said to give it 3 times a day but he never stated whether to give 2.5ml or 5ml. It's got 250mg/5ml on the box. However, according to the MayoClinic, "if the child/infant is older than 3 months of age & weighing less than 40 kg (88lbs), the dose is then based on body weight and must be determined by the prescribing doctor....

Hi. Has anyone else experienced visual disturbances on this med? First day I started taking them I felt pressure in my head... felt a bit strange but was happy I could cope with the effects. Second day about 1 hour after taking my first tablet I noticed I wasn't able to see all of someone's face. It progressed into the whole of my left side of my vision being distorted, similar to how it is with a migraine, but much worse. I've since stopped taking them and been given penicillin for my uti. I've searched all over the internet but can't find a similar story. So the question I have is I have an infection on or in my gum and have 300mg of clindamycin antibiotic, now I was wondering if that can be mixed with oxycodone 30mg which I take about say 3 a day. will that have a side effect or cause a problem mixing the antibiotic with a oxycodone? ## I am not finding any interactions, or problems listed between using them together, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. I've taken 4 out of 7 of my Levaquin pills. I take them at 7 pm every night for a UTI. Do you think I can change it to about 11 am instead for the last 3 doses? I can't sleep at night and feel awful. My post crown broke. The crown been in 3 years had root canal when crown put in.. The upper gum is real sore, no insurance. Is the soreness a possible infection and will CEFDINIR help till get money to have fixed.I called dentist and they will not use my crown to save cost so I can afford to get it fixed???? ## Without seeing it, it is hard to say, but there is a chance that it is infection and requires an antibiotic. The faces are rounded not flat. Im not sure what this is. Could be multiple things. Hoping its a basic over the counter pain reliever but it could also be an antibiotic or something else i shouldnt take. Before i take a couple i want to make sure. I had huge rashes on body from 20 days itchy and painful. No tablets worked. Finally augmenting 625 mg did. My haemoglobin is down and ESR is wat high to 40. Doc told my blood is infected and m being allergic to something I eat. Augmenting worked for 3 days .. course is for 5 days but I have got back the rashes on my body. Does this mean the medication is not working anymore ? Why would my blood get infected like this. And how do I find a what is that food which m being allergic to. And wat can cure me.

I started having one swollen leg,which my Doctor saw and wasn't concerned. then all of a sudden it grew huge as well as did the other one. My doctor prescribed cephalexin 500 mg for 7 days........it made me really sick, but one leg went back to normal. Then he prescribed Dicloxacillin sodium 250 mg 4 times a day for 7 days. It is terrible Brain Fog, blurred vision and dizzy and sick. I am in the 5 th day, Some improvement in the leg but not much its swollen clear up to my waist.. He put me off over the weekend and said keep taking it........I don't know if I should continue taking this if that's what he advises or not......I am so sick of feeling sick. I have had 4 major surgeries including a Hip replacement on that Hip and I wonder if its Lymphedema instead. Any Input?? ## ...

Hello. I've been taking amoxicillin for 5 days (7-day course) for an ear infection. It took the sharpness of the pain off but there is no significant improvement after that. I've taken just one macrobid at 5pm and at 9pm out of nowhere my left ear felt as though I was a really high elevation, not so bad in my right but it's there. I keep having to yawn to make my ears pop and I'm doing this at least twice a minute when it's really annoying and at other times when I swallow I feel them pop. Sometimes even sound gets fainter then gets clearer again. I'm flying tomorrow. I'm going to hold off taking one tomorrow morning and go straight in to see the doc but since this came out of nowhere is this the drug? ## It is really hard to say, it might be due to the medication, according to FDA reports, but it could also be due to some other issue.
