Can two antibiotics be used at the same time? My husband was prescribed Metronidazole 250mg (1pill 3x's a day) and Clindamycin 150mg (2 pills -3x's a day) for a foot infection. ## Those both aren't actually in the same classification. They are commonly used together, because many people on antibiotics end up getting yeast infections as a side effect. Learn more: ## Can clindamycin be used with azithromycin 250mg? I chipped my front tooth a while back and now it is killing me. I have taken any and everything I could think of but nothing works. I do have the antibiotic cephalexin but still nothing. ## Hello, Tamika! How are you? How long did you take the antibiotic? It usually requires 7 to 10 days, though you should get some relief in after 3 days of dosing. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, the only long-term solution is to see your dentist and have the problem corrected. Even if the antibiotic clears up any infection that's present, it will just keep returning, if you don't have the tooth taken care of. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have very bad teeth. I have missing tee...

The FDA classifies this as an antibiotic and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Did you have a bad reaction to it? It may take about 2 weeks, after you stop taking it, for things to settle down and to feel more normal. ## Hi Tammy, Levofloxacin gets out of your system very quickly... just a few days to a week at the most. I was hospitalized for 3 days (Aug. 28th-31st) due to gastro/diarrhea. In the hospital the doctor gave me the following: 1. Seven vials of Erceflora 2. Three (100ml) vials of Levofloxacin 500mg 3. Four tabs of (40mg) Omeprazole. Because I felt itchiness on Levofloxacin, the doctor gave me 2 (500mg) tabs of Metronidazole. For home medication the doctor prescripted the following: 1. Metronidazole - 3x5 days = 15 2. Omeprazole - 1x5 days = 5 3. Erceflora - 3x3 days = 9 I feel dizzy, sometimes vomiting. I don't feel normal just yet. Please! ## Have you consulted a doctor? Only a medical professional is going to be able to help you discover what is causing the problem and to discover a solution. I am not certain what you are referring to as a stretching feeling. Levofloxacin is not likely to help, since it is just an antibiotic that is used to treat infections. Is Betamox 500mg safe for swollen ang painful gums? ## Hello, Based on my research, Betamox contains Amoxicillin which is an antibiotic. It is meant to be used for bacterial infections including but limited to: acute otitis media, streptococcal pharyngitis, pneumonia, skin infections, urinary tract infections, salmonella, lyme disease, and chlamydia infections. I would not use this medication to treat swollen and painful gums. If you mix a pinch of salt with warm water and rinse out your mouth with it twice a day, it should help to increase blood circulation in the gums and reduce swelling. I recommend using pink Himalayan salt or sea salt, I wouldn't use table salt unless it's all you have available. Do you know why your gums are swollen? Are you taking any medications that cou...
