Cefuroxime Axet 250 2x Daily

I was given the above Ceftin for a UTI that another antibiotic did not clear. I had severe diarrhea for a day now have severe muscle tightness from my head down to my feet with pain. When I try to stretch, I get pins and needles. I stopped taking. When will it be created and muscles loosened. I can hardly walk, as lower back is tight , and it radiates down my butt to my leg. What can I do? How can I get relief?

Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to NIH reports. Unfortunately, the only thing that is going to help them go away is time.

Have you informed your doctor? If an infection is being treated, you will most likely need to switch to a different antibiotic to fully eradicate it.

Are you on any other medications?

cefuroxime creates same problem which the 1st one says,, I take it only 4 dose, I want to change it with cleandamycin 300 mg.....is it possible?
