I've taken nine 500mg tablets of Alphamox (3 times a day for 3 days). I would like to know how long it will take for it to completely leave my system now that I have stopped taking it? This is because I need to take a new medication but can't until Alphamox is out of my system as it won't work with the Alphamox. (The new medication is Fluconazole 150mg). ## Hi Jenna, according to this site's half life calculator a dose of Amoxicillin would be metabolized in about 17 hours. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate and does not factor in that you have taken multiple doses. Please provide the name of antibiotic tablets used for a viral fever. I have been suffering from a viral fever for the past 2 days. I just feel restless now. Can I take Crosin with antibiotics for that? ## I have been suffering from a viral fever with a throat infection for the last 4 days. I have taken azithromycin 250 tablets twice a day. The doctor has given me a 10 tablet course. I have taken 6 tablets in 3 days. But the next day I started feeling well, so I stopped taking it. Kindly suggest if there's any other suitable medicine. ## Even if you are feeling better it is EXTREMELY important that you finish the whole course of antibiotics prescribed to you by your doctor. I can't stress this enough, you MUST finish all antibiotics given to you.

I am now taking clindamycin for an infection and I have just come down with hives on my face. Can I take benadryl for the hives? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions listed between Clindamycin and Benadryl. This doesn't necessarily mean that no interactions exist, so it may still be in your best interest to ask your doctor first, but I haven't found any information suggesting that it's unsafe to take the two together... Is sulfur in penicillin s21 pills? I'm allergic to sulfur and have a bad toothache. Will penicillin help me out or make me sick? I read the prescription directions wrong. I'm taking nitrofurantoin for a UTI in pregnancy. The directions say every 12 hours for 7 days. I quickly looked at the bottle and thought it said every 7 hours. I have five pills left, so now about 2 and a half days left now that I know the actual timespan. I cut my lip about 3 yrs ago... Since then it will not heal and seems to have (for lack of better words) spread across my lip. I have never had a cold sore or herpes, this was when I cut my lip...
