Can I start taking the Ampicillin right away? ## Hi Cindy, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) there are no interactions listed between Bactrim and Ampicillin. While this does not necessarily mean that no interactions exist, it is my understanding that the two are generally regarded as being safe to take together.
