I have lung problems and had tuberculosis when I was younger. I am now 66, have COPD and am very chemically sensitive. The dentist put me on clindamycin for an abscessed tooth. A lot of medications shut my lungs down and my oxygen drops. Should I take this medication? ## Is your dentist aware that you have had, and do have, such health issues? I am on lisinopril and my dr put me on bactrim for 3 days and I feel more tired than usual. I took Ampicillin last night and I was wondering if I can take Clindamycin today? I have a sore throat and cough. ## Has your doctor instructed you to take them? Well mines expired in August 2017. Can i still use it to clear up a tooth infection that i had before. I had an infection in one tooth and its gone. Now i have another infection in another tooth which they prescribe me with the same medicine its just 5 months old. The date on the bottle is August 2017. ## I also wanted to say that they are capsules that are light blue and light green and have rx692 written on them. Once again they expired August 28th 2017. I have a skin problem. I have a rash on my face and my back so my aunt told me to use a bactrim pill because it's good. Yesterday I went to the pharmacy to fill a prescription for them. Now I just noticed that they gave me purbac instead of bactrim. I have a infection under an old root canal. Dentist sent me to Endo who opened the tooth redid the root canal packed it and gave my amoxicillin 500x3 day. Pain the next day was so bad I went back to Endo and he took out the packing to let it drain. Went back two days later and he repacked the tooth. The packing fell out the same day and I had to leave the country for two weeks. I am scheduled to see a Endo when I get back to fill the root canal, I am now a week in and in Mexico and can’t bite without severe pain. I broke out with skin blisters while taking Levaquin 3 years ago. Today my Doctor has put me on Cipro. My question is if I am allergic to Levaquin will I have the same reaction with Cipro ## Although both medications are in the same fluoroquinolone drug class, I don't believe you'd experience the same type of reaction with a different brand. Your allergic reaction could've also been due to one or more inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that may have been present in the Levaquin and not necessarily in Ciprofloxacin. Been in Amoxi/clav 875mg for two days now for a severe sinus infection and my face us still swollen up to my eye (twice the original size) should I go to the emergency room. My wife most likely had used these recently. They were in one of two pill cases that she uses at home and when she travels. ## I located a white capsule-shaped pill with these same exact markings, identified as Amoxicillin (875mg) + clavulanate potassium (125mg); which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. I was diagnosed with a UTI and prescribed Naloxone 2 tabs 4x a day for 5 days + Cipro 1 tab. 2 x day for 7 days. I am getting headaches and think it's from the Naloxone. Would I be ok to stop the Naloxone and continue with the Cipro. I've been on this course of meds for 3 days.
