Hi I have recently had a bad tooth infection and was prescribed amoxicillin teva 3109. I take 3 pills a day for 10 days. I also found out my dude had chlamydia so I'm wondering if this dosage will clear me of it or will I need more meds?

Both of you will need to be treated, otherwise he will keep carrying it and giving it back to you.

According to the NIH, the antibiotics of choice are Azithromycin and Doxycycline, so it would be best to speak to your doctor and see if they feel one of them is necessary.

I have been prescribed teva 3109 capsule (which is amoxicillin 500 mg) for a tooth infection & I can't take pills. So I wanted to know if it is possible to just take the powder that's inside the capsule & will it still fight off the infection ??
