My mother has some Penicillin VK left from a previous dental infection in 2005, Is it safe for her to use now? ## It is too old to be effective. As pills age, the active ingredients start to break down and as time passes, you will get less and less of an effective dosage. Taking them now, also raises the risk of developing drug-resistan bacteria. So all around, it is not a good idea and she will be better off getting a new prescription.

I am taking 30mg of Prozac once daily, 0.5 Klonopin, Asacoland100mg twice a day ofNitrofurant Monohy would 1 to 2 glasses of wine harm me. We are having a Holliday party. ## It is not generally a good idea to mix any prescription drugs with alcohol. The main reason being that it can enhance already undesirable side effects such as nausea, drowsiness, headache and etc.

500mg. Has brand name Sanoz GmbH, Austria on the packaging. Given for runny nose in child. ## This is actually an antibiotic, 500mgs of Cephalexin to be exact. It is a broad spectrun antibiotic used to treat many types of infections. Could be that your child was developing a sinus infection, which may have been causing the runny nose. Some of the most common side effects include: upset stomach and diarrhea.

Does Ciprofloxacin interfere with Cumatin? or any other meds? ## Using these two together can actually increase the efficiency of the Coumadin, so if you are taking them both then you must be very carefully monitored. white line in the middle on one side ip on the other half 272 ## This is Sulfamethoxazole 800mgs and Trimethoprim 60mgs, a generic for Bactrim. This is an antibiotic. Most common side effects include diarrhea and drowsiness. This can also be dangerous for people who are allergic to Sulfa drugs.

Can someone please help me find an 500mg amoxicillin that does not have blue or green dye in the capsule? I would also prefer any amoxicillin capsule that is not red or pink or yellow. I have problems with dyes. It was suggested to me that I call Poison Control and they told me that Duramed makes an amoxicillin that is clear and buff in color - this would be acceptable although, no dye is preferred. Can you get me 500 mg amoxicillin that has no dye or is clear and buff in color? I have a refillable Rx for 200 capsules. What is the reasoning for not being able to have any dairy products one hour before and after taking Doxyccyline? ## iS dOXYCYC THE SAME AS DOXYCYLINE ? ## Yes, the same thing, just an abbreviation. The reason for the dairy restriction is because dairy products can prevent the absorption of the medication, so you don't get the full dose you need into your body.

shape oval color white imprint ip 272 ## I recently took this one of these pills yesterday morning. By noon I started to have a headache and by the afternoon I had a migraine type of headache along with blood shot red eyes and light pink color to my skin. The next morning the symptoms are still here along with some aching pains in my muscles. My eyes are still red and they are slightly puffy. This afternoon my headache is not as bad but my muscles still ache and my eyes are still irritated. Is there anything I can do to help this through my system? I only took one pill yesterday morning. ## Not really, nothing to do but wait it out, if you only took one, then it won't take long to be metabolized.

Trimethoprim is listed as interfering with bacterial biosynthesis of nucleic acids and proteins and is used in the treatment of pnemonia, diarrhea, and bronchitis.

What is this pill for and what is the adult prescription? ## I'm guessing that the "Amox" is for Amoxicillin - with that in mind, the other parts of your description could indicate the compound Clavulanic Acid. A brand name of this combination is Augmentin. Can you provide any specific markings, color, and shape of the pills? This would allow me to give you the exact drug name. As for what I guessed above, you can read more about that medicine, and you will see that it is an antibiotic (for killing infection)... Hope this helps!

## What is the shelf life of ciprofloxacn 250 mg tab? ## Well this medication doesn't ever get dangerous, if it goes past about 18months old, it does start to lose some effectiveness, so where you used to take 1 pill you may now have to take 2 to get the full beneficial dosage. My concern though is you self-treating. You should never do this as this antibiotic may not be appropriate for your current condition and you also run the risk of creating drug resistance.

Those are 500mg of ciprofloxacin...did i have gonnorrhea also and was not said anything to about it.
