availbility of spasmo urolong in the u.s ## Hi Lali, Spasmo-Urolong contains the active ingredients: Camylofin + Nitrofurantoin; and only appears to be available outside of the U.S. (particularly in Mexico, from what I can gather). The manufacturer's page is link below for more details: altianpharma.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=31&category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=13&lang=en You may be able to contact them directly on their webpage or ask your pharmacist about obtaining each drug individually. I would see that as a last resort option if you really need it. I hope this info helps!

I AM TAKING AMOXICILLIN FOR UTI. 875 MG TABLETS.ONE EVERY 12 HOURS. I NEED TO CHANGE TO SULAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP. CAN I SUB SULFAMETHOXAZOLE WHEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TIME TO TAKE AMOX? ## Hi Roy, The answer to your question is yes, as long as you're still sticking to your dosing regimen. A friend of mine had to take both of these medications at once for a staph infection, so I know they don't necessarily interact with one another in that regard. I hope this helps!

I have some amoxicilina 500 mg. july 2008 can it be used ## Hi mary, I honestly wouldn't recommend using any expired antibiotics that are more than a couple months old. That's just me personally. Reason being is that certain ones can actually become toxic after the expiration date, making them more harmful than they are good. If it were any other type of drug I would say yes, as most properly stored medications can last up to 10-15 years beyond their expiration date (according to a study done by Harvard University). Do you have access to a doctor for a new prescription?

My 2yr old has strep throat bad and doesnt want to sallow anything. Will erythromycin-sulfisox susp kill this infection or do i need a stronger antibiotic? ## Hi Janet, From what I could gather, Erythromycin is often a first choice antibiotic against strep throat. There are however certain strains that are "immune"; in which case I would simply suggest letting your doctor have the final say as to what medication would be best. Can't raise my arm in the past I have had reaction from other meds ## It isn't a listed common side effect, but if you are having a bad reaction to it, then yes, it can happen. ive got a bad head cold can i used trimeth sulfa ds for a head cold ## No. Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic that is used to treat various bacterial infections and, as such, it will not be effective at treating a cold. Colds are caused by a virus, not a bacterial infection. Learn more Bactrim details here. Additionally, improper use of antibiotics creates the risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I had a ingrown toenail...and they prescribed me sulfameth.....I took my last sulfameth pill last night..can I drink alcohol today? ## I would personally suggest waiting until the drug is completely out of your system; which can take up to 3 or 4 days after your last dose. By now it's been just over a week since you posted this, so you should be good to go at this point in time. Did the antibiotic help with the infection? I have one of these right now in my toe and it seems the only way is to have the toenail cut off at a certain point. Their like mini daggers, which is very unpleasant to say the least Lol!

I am taking macrodantin for a urinary-urethra infection. I have quickly shown a large increase in blood pressure. I also wear an Interstim device for a sluggish bladder. Is it safe to get a flu shot while take nitrofur macr 100 mg? ## I'm not aware of any issues between the two, but since the flu vaccine can change from year to year, it isn't actually tested against medications. I am on 1000mg of amoxicillin twice a day for 20 days for a deep tissue skin infection at my knee. The infection has cleared up completely and it has been 4 days but I plan to continue take the antibiotics until they are gone. Is it safe to take P6 Extreme along with the antibiotics (amoxicillin 1000mg) ? ## In theory there shouldn't be a problem, since the P6 Extreme is a supplement that's claimed to help boost testosterone, but as such, it hasn't actually been tested for interactions with prescription medications. Additionally, it hasn't been proven to actually work to boost testosterone, either. Learn more Amoxicillin details here. My son has acne on his chest and back. He is going to join the Army and we have been told that the acne can disqualify him. Our doctor has prescribed Amox/Clav. He has his physical in 2 weeks. Hoping for a huge miracle here!! ## It really depends on the type and severity of the acne, for some severe forms, yes they would fail him on the physical. Learn more Augmentin details here. The issue, however, is that is usually takes longer than 2 weeks for an antibiotic to clear it up and for it to stay cleared up, the person usually takes a low dose for a long time period. This is an antibiotic good for getting rid of mucus, leading to a chronic cough. It has been successful several times for me and saved me a doctor's vi$it. Take two the first day and one each day following for five days. ## Thank you for your post, I really hope it's beneficial to someone. It will also not treat allergies, which could be another reason for one to be full of mucous. Learn more Cefalexina details here.
