Is it safe to get a flu shot while take nitrofur macr 100 mg?

I'm not aware of any issues between the two, but since the flu vaccine can change from year to year, it isn't actually tested against medications.

I know that as a heart patient, my doctor has never worried about what else I was taking, when she gave me the shot.

You may want to just double check with your doctor to be safe, there's no harm in asking.
