So if you're child is allergic to Penicillin (and other antibiotics in that group), he or she shouldn't experience the same complications with Ciproxina. I took two Cipro 500mg pills at once on a wednesday and felt dizzy and got headaches and stomachaches. Many heart arrhythmias are due to a decrease of magnesium in the body (even if your magnesium level tested by your doctor is normal). Unfortunately, the mechanism of action of many of the Avelox Side Effects is through a reduction in magnesium in the body. This could potentially lead to worsening of symptoms. You should carefully read about the side effects of these drugs and decide if the risk is worth treating the infection, or if it might be better to call your doctor, tell him about your concerns, and ask for an alternative to Levaquin to treat your infection.

Has anyone ever experienced a problem mixing avelox and champex together ## Hi Paul, There is no known interactions between these drugs, but that does not mean that there are not any, only that it may just never have been tested, or that there are not enough studies to determine whether or not there is an interaction. However, just taking Avelox with or without any other drugs can lead to a whole host of problems that you can learn about by going to the Avelox Side Effects page. The multitude of reports of severe and even disabling side effects may encourage you to ask your doctor if there are any alternate drugs that you can substitute for the Avelox. Levaquin contains Levofloxacin, which is different than the Nitrofurantoin. The Cipro and Levaquin are much more similar, because Cipro contains Ciprofloxacin. There is really no way to say that one is more effective than any other. It depends on the type of infection being treated, the severity of it and the person's response to any given antibiotic. Erythromycin 250mg was prescribed to treat cellulitis ,a red itchy rash on my leg , I now know is an infection under the skin . I was asked to take the tablets every 6 hours. So found that difficult as I was asleep for the fourth one . I have one days medicine left , but had some more rash appear yesterday , I'm feel very weak and think I need more medicine , please advise . ## See the Doctor ASAP. After having 2 sinus infections within a month, I was pretty sure I had yet another one. I took Cipro for the first two and they seemed to go away. I was sure that I had one again, so I returned to the doctor. He prescribed that SMZ-TMP double str. 800-160. I read the side effects that came with my prescription and thought, wow there are ALOT of side affects to this medication! I haven't really had a bad reaction to a drug before except when the doctor was trying to get my thyroid dose correct. At that time, I thought I was going crazy! I had anxiety really bad.
