My daughter has prescription Penicillin 500mg for every 6 hours after wisdom teeth removal. How many times/day does she to take? Are the intervals for awake times only or for 24 hrs? ## Hi Cindy! If your daughter is prescribed to take every 6 hours, she needs to take 4 pills a day. Sometimes, you need to wake up during the night to take them. All the ingredients of every thing bactrim has in it. Any benzodiazepines in it at all? ## No, none at all. Bactim is a combination of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim. Sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim.are both antibiotics that treat different types of infection caused by bacteria. Benzodiazepines are used to treat anxety, panic attacks, seizures, muscle spasms and several other conditions. Benzodiazepines are not used to treat infections.

Is ampicillina used for thootach ## Hi Kenisha, From what I understand, if the toothache is being caused by a bacterial infection, then yes, an antibiotic like Ampicillin should work fine. In most cases one tablet is usually taken four times a day, every 6 hours. However, I would still recommend following your doctors instructions for proper dosing and administration of the drug, since bacteria can become resistant when it's not fully eradicated the first time around. I took this for a week which ended about a month ago. I'm 46 and a runner. Since taking these meds, my left heel and calf have hurt (tender on the inside of heel under ankle and tight calf). Now my right ankle has begun hurting and I've never had issues with these before. I can barely walk in the mornings. What are my options here? I am on Sulfameth Trimethoprim and I was in the sun for short periods of time, and broke I out in a sunburn rash. Tried Benadryl but it never changed. Can this medication have caused this? ## Hello, Nick! How are you? Some topical aloe vera lotion may help soothe it, but otherwise, it will likely just take time, until it clears up on its own. I'm. On purbac now one month for my skin, it looks very clean and clear so great, but I've. Since develop extreme constipation, even with normal meds for that, its still very heavy and almost nothing helps.
