Purbac Breastfeeding

I have taken purbac on and off since I was a teenager for acne (so long term) I need to go back on it again but am currently breastfeeding my 15 month old. He only nurses twice a day and is older, is it safe? My GP said its fine but the pharmacist said because its long term I should ween my baby rather (which I dont want to just yet)
