I am 35yrs old ,I have a swelling in my neck it looks like goiter . It has been there for about 4months increasing and very painful ,I have been seen by doctors , both private and government hospitals , X rays of both my neck and right shoulder was done , but none of the doctors could tell me what the diagnosis is two days a go it started to drain pus and I was ordered cefuroxime 500mg twice per day , flagyl 500mg 3times per day and ordered to do scan for my neck . Please what is the cause of this , and what can I do , because the doctors are unable to diagnose my problem .

Ordered from Canada pharmacy that I have used before, however these appear to have shipped from India. Tablets are 500mg, oval shape, orange and scored on one side with no imprint. Ten per blister pack. Back of blister pack shows Ciproks 500 and manufactured for Combitic Global. Are these legitimate? ## Hello, Ellen! How are you? I have just read that rifaximin has two forms ie an alpha form which is anti-microbial and a beta form which is not anti-microbial and that some forms found outside the USA such as India are a combination of the two which would be less effective. I have been buying the rifagut brand by Sun Pharma without realizing this and would like to know please which form of rifaximin this is and which brands are the alpha, beta or combination forms?

Got a respiratory infection after cleaning refrigerator coils. Excessive thick phlegm followed by ongoing loose phlegm. Doctor did blood test. Determined white cells high indicating infection and prescribed this medicine 500mg twice a day. I have only taken 2 pills and have had severe burning head pain...soreness from breastbone to belly button. I have quit taking this medicine. Have I harmed myself with this quantity of this medicine.
