Amox K Clav 500 125milk

Can I drink milk with this antibiotic I just want some cereal but my mom said milk kills antibiotics.

Milk doesn't ruin the effectiveness of antibiotics, but it can cause you to absorb less of them than you normally would, because it coats the stomach.

You can have milk and dairy products while taking it, but you should be sure to separate them by about 2 hours.

Side effects to this antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
