I was Rx Prednisone 10 mg x 48 tablet. The Lot number is L043E08A Expires 04 11. Can you explain the expiraton date? ## April 2011? After that date, the active ingredients can start to break down and the effectiveness of the medication is reduced. ## I have 10 mg. prednisone tablets which expired 2008. Are they safe to take?

I have lower back pain for now 3 months and i have been using Diclofenac tabs but all in vain, what can i do ## Have you seen a doctor? Proper treatment and pain relief will depend on getting a proper diagnosis as to what is causing your pain. If has been caused by some type of injury, you may require medical intervention to correct the problem. Pain killers only mask the symptoms. There are also other medical conditions that can cause aches in various parts of your back, such as ulcers, gastritis and some heart problems.

Hi. I'm now on prednisone but I took it at night instead of morning as on the instructions. And I took only 5 not 6 pills. Does any of this make a difference? ## Correction I'm on Prednisolone ## Not taking the correct dosage can definitely make a difference, as you may not be getting enough of the medication to actually clear up the condition being treated. What did you take only 5, instead of 6, as instructed? As to the time of day, that isn't really significant, as long as you spread the doses out properly. If it says to take 6 the first day and 5 the second day, then that means you should keep them 24 hours apart. Prednisolone is a steroid class medication and it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, weight gain and fluid retention. Learn more:

Need dexapostafen or equivalence in USA ## Dexapostafen contains the active ingredients Dexamethasone and Buclizine and there is no medication available in the U.S. that combines that antihistamine/antiemetic with the steroid. Buclizine isn't even available here, the closest equivalent we have would probably be Meclizine and you would have to take it and the Dexamethasone as separate tablets. Are there any comments or questions?
