I have been taking diclofenac sod 75 mg ec tab twice a day for about a month, for arthritis in my ankle. It helps early in the day, but does not last until the next pill is due. Same with the one I take in the evening, and when I get up in the morning I can barely walk. Is it possible for these to be prescribed 3 times per day, or would the 100 mg. give me longer coverage, or ? ? ?. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks ## Have you discussed this with your doctor? Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and a higher dose won't necessarily give you a longer time of efficacy, but from what I am reading some people with Arthritis do take it up to 3 times a day, as long as they don't go over 200mgs daily. The same can be said for a computer harddrive (not that I'm trying to compare a computer to a pill), but when they first came out with them they were huge and had even less memory than the smaller one's today. I have bad teeth, so just wanted to have a painkiller before I went to the doctor tonight. Went to thenearest medical centre and asked for a mild painkiller ; the Guy didn't even think twice before reaching for Nise. When I asked him not to give nimesulide, he got offended and told me to ask what is the brand that I needed, and started telling me that its alright to take nise because its not nimesulide alone, and that doctors prescribe still it. Is that a valid reason?

An oval, oblong pill it is white in color,One side has an N on it . The other side has the number 750 on it. It's on the large side, my guesstimation is 3/4 of an inch.
