The generic form (Diclofen Sod Tab 100mg ER) does not keep me pain free like the Diclofenac 100mg ER tab. What is the difference between these drugs????? ## what is the brand name for this medication and what is the difference between the two? ## Both medications mentioned in the original post are generics, from what has been posted, they were just abbreviated differently on the prescription label. I can't even say for sure if they were made by difference companies, since no other specific information was provided. There can sometimes be slight fluctuations from one manufacturer to another. You can learn more Diclofenac details here. The name brand for it would be Voltaren. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling, so it may cause si...

Hi doc, my wife used MTP Kit mifepristone 12 hours ago, but she didn't get any bleeding. Shall we continue the remaining pills(misoprostol) ? Please help me earlier ## Based on other patient's experiences I've read, she may still have to continue taking the remaining pills. But due to the nature of this situation, I'd encourage you to seek confirmation from her gynaecologist before taking any further action, as I am not a doctor. More information on proper dosing and administration can be found here: women.healthkosh.com/doctor-online/how-to-use-mtp-kit-21475 While I don't necessarily agree with abortion, I do wish you the best in making the right informed decision. ## I need help,,im 6 moths pregnat,,na scam ako kahapon san ako mkkbili dito,,txt me {edited for priva...

Grabbed for the Aleve Liquid gels & never paid attention to what color they were but there were 4 left & they were a red capsule. My boyfriend needed 1 for a bad haedache this morning but he later asked what I gave him & I told him what I had given him & he said either they are messing with his migraine medicine or they are not what they said they were. I cut it open & it was a cream colored powder. Any idea what this is? ## It also did NOT have any imprint on them. ## It's an over the counter product, so it isn't required to have an imprint. And it could be that he shouldn't take them with his migraine medication, they may be contraindicated. What does he take for his migraines? Knowing that would help me to research this and perhaps discover where the p...

my girlfriend said that her period has delayed about 7 days.we fear pregnancy.please suggest a medicine name to solve our problem... ## If it's only been 7 days, then before she does anything else, she needs to take a pregnancy test to check and see if she is pregnant. This soon, there are many reasons why it could be delayed, it could even just be due to her being stressed and worried about it. Learn more Misoprostol details here. If she is pregnant, then the most commonly used medication to terminate the pregnancy is Misoprostol, which is explained at the link I posted above, however, it does require a doctor's prescription in most countries. In the future, I'd also suggest you get and use a reliable form of contraception to prevent such worries. If you are going to be sex...

Can u take these pills for inflammation of a hemmrroids.. ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Diclofenac sodium delayed release (75 mg). Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, taken to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain in conditions such as arthritis or acute injury. The indications do not mention any specific details with regards to hemorrhoid treatment. However I did come across one article ranking Diclofenac's efficacy up there among other hemorrhoid treatment options. So I would consider it a viable option, but in my opinion it probably wouldn't be a first choice when compared to other alternatives. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Diclofenac Details I hope this info helps!

It is a small round light orange pill with a fish symbol and a negative sign out to the side and on the other side is the numbers 717. ## Light Orange 717 On One Side And A Fish Symbol On One Side ## It is always fascinating to me how virtually anything from colors to logos are relative and may be interpreted differently by whomever happens to be looking at them. This is a great example of why, when someone posts including the color of a pill, I always check among similar colored ones, as well. This same logo has been interpreted by others to be an awareness ribbon, such as those used for breast cancer and AIDS. This pill actually has a stylized R logo on it, with the number 717 and it contains 100mgs of Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain...

I take Azulfidine for Rheumatoid A. but due to a severe crushed foot injury, I have now developed RSD/CRPS and am told anti-inflammatories will worsen RSD. Does anyone have any information on this subject? ## Hi Cassie, I did a little research to see if anyone else who has RSD/CRPS has had any success with natural remedies and I did read on a forum about a lady having success with acupuncture, chinese herbal teas, yoga, cranial sacral therapy, and even meditation! I've personally used acupuncture for a painful nerve in my foot and it really helped! I also read that lavender essential oil can be beneficial. Have you ever looked into using essential oils? If not, here is a link to a site that gives information about specific oils that work well for pain: experience-essential-oils.com/...

is olfen 50 mg. safe to use daily as a muscle relaxer. ## From the dosing and the question, I believe the Olfen being asked about in this case was the one that just contains Diclofenac, which is actually a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, not a muscle relaxant. It can help with pain, fever and swelling, though. However, you shouldn't use it daily for a long period of time, without your doctors approval, because there are some risks that may be associated with doing so, such as stomach ulceration, elevated blood pressure and fluid retention. You can learn more Diclofenac details here. Are there any questions or comments?

I have been prescribed dolo-neurobion by my doctor and would like to know what are the side effects I should be aware of. ## Dolo-Neurobion appears to be manufactured in Mexico and contains the following active ingredients: Diclofenac Sodium + Vitamin B1 + Vitamin B6 + Vitamin B12. As far as side effects go, I wouldn't necessarily be concerned about the vitamins; since vitamins are in nearly everything we eat as it is. Side effects of Diclofenac however, can be viewed in the link below: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a689002.html#side-effects You can also learn more about this drug on the page for Diclofenac Details I hope this info helps!

my mama gets prednisone from 2 diff sorces, 1 taste nasty, she says, and the othe, west ward 473, has no taste. anyone know if one may not be wat it is supose to be? or any info on thw westward 473 taste? ## Hi Robert, Based on the description provided, I can confirm that West-Ward 473 is in fact identified as Prednisone 10 mg. The differences in taste are likely due to the variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers/dyes/etc) in each tablet. What's the imprint on the other (nasty tasting) pill your mom is taking? I may be able to look it up for additional verification. Hope this helps!
