Can I still take them at this time after 3 yrs. ## Hello, Sissy! How are you? This medication doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does lose efficacy over time, so they will not work as well as they did, when new. It would be best to dispose of them. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this steroid as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it OK to split this 500 mg G332 naproxen pill? I don't like taking the full 500 mg a it makes me tired. ## Are you asking about the tablet with the marking G32 on one side and 500 on the other? If so, then yes, it can be split, if your doctor approves, it is a regular release formulation, that's why it's scored. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

For legs, for pain during night and day. ## Daflonex is actually a supplement which contains Hesperidin, it is believed to be an anti-oxidant, with anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. That said, since this is a supplement, it is actually not proven to help with anything and possibly side effects are unknown. I also can't find any information on whether or not the components are different between the two. What little I can find on it is here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I FOUND OUT IT'S A NATURAL PILL AND IT WORKS REAL GOOD FOR THE LEGS... APERENTLY THERES NO SIDE AFFECTS... My leg ankle got twisted, and my leg is swollen for 14 days, the swelling gets decreased sometimes and then it gets increased again. I am taking Zerodol SP for 10 days. I am able to walk only a little bit. How much days will it take for the swelling to go away completely?? Some part of the leg near the ankle has become purple. ## Hi bhagyesh, Sorry to hear about the swelling on your leg. From what I could gather, Zerodol SP reportedly contains the active ingredients Aceclofenac + Serratiopeptidase + Paracetamol. These ingredients are notably used to treat pain, fever and swelling. So it sounds to me like it should help improve your condition over time. But depending on the severity of it, there's really no way to determine the rate at which it will be healed unless you were to have yo...

Hello I recently broke my ankle and the doctors prescribed me hydrocodone to take away the pain because the naproxen wasnt working. The hydrocodone only lasts 6 hours am i able to take naproxen or ibprofen after the 6 hours to help with the pain so i dont have to take another vicodin? ## Princessjeffy06, as long as you don't have any problems taking Naproxen, you can take it when you take the Hydrocodone or when the Hydrocodone wears off. Naproxen is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and helps reduce inflammation. Hydrocodone is an opiate and helps relieve pain. It is common for drs to prescribe them together.

I took my first day of a medrol pack and after my last 2, before bed heart racing/pounding started. Approx 100 bpm. For about an hour now. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? That can be a normal side effect of corticosteroids, such as this one. As reported by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and insomnia. It's generally nothing to worry about, unless it starts going even higher, but you should always consult your doctor to be sure. Is there anything else I can help with?

found it in my daugters purse, what is it used for? ## does anyone have an idea what it is? i heard, it could be ZANEX. ## No its not Zanax, I think its a muscle relaxant!! ## Actually it is an anti-inflamatory ## I'm pretty sure the pill you're talking about is a generic version of anaprox, she's probably using it for menstrual cramps, I know that's what my girlfriend uses them for. ## this is used for period cramps. ## It's naproxen (or prescription aleve lol) Not Xanax or a muscle relaxant. It's in the same family as advil. (antiinflammatory) A lot of girls take them for period cramps. But they could also be for other pains such as toothaches, headaches and general pulls (etc) Did you think of asking your daughter what she is taking? ## It is used for cramps I...

Accidentally, took 40 mg. of prednisone. How do I taper off the drug now? ## Hi Judy, If you overdosed on your medication and are concerned about the possible ramifications of having done so, I would encourage you to call the American Association of Poison Control at: 1 (800) 222-1222. Better safe than sorry, right? As far as a tapering plan goes, this is really something you and your doctor should work closely on developing in order to ensure that the instructions are tailored to your medical history and other pertinent/personal information. There is no one size fits all when it comes to starting or stopping any medication. I just hope you're feeling alright by now.

I need to know whether I can take "aleve" and fentanyl together? ## Hello, Jane! How are you? I didn't find any problems, or interactions listed between these two medications, so that should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. The FDA classifies Fentanyl as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Aleve is a NSAID and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Have been prescribed this medication for a frozen shoulder pain, How does it work, what are side effects? ## The active ingredient in this is Aceclofenac. This is not available in the U.S., so I cannot find a lot of information on it, however it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so the side effects will be similar to other drugs in this class, such as Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen. ## i am 76 old suffering from severe backpain and body pains. I got my ears pierced 3 months ago with medical grade plastic system due to metal allergies then my left ear began to get irritated, bleed, pus and lost of pain & very dark on back side of ear. I got antibiotics but then my entire ear began to burn, itch and pain to touch & I couldn't touch or move my earlobe without it seeming to activate this weird filling of fullness inside my ear canal. My entire ear and lope was extremely swollen & two doc's confirmed major swelling on the inside of my ear. I used antibiotic ear drops but not much help. My dosage is 4x5mg daily for 5 days then 3 for 3 days then 2 daily for 3 days then 1 tablet daily for 3 days then stop My question is ! On the daily dosage for example 4 tablets per day do they have to be taken altogether or do you space them out over the day ## Hello, Alan! How are you? They can be taken either way, depending on what works best for you. Some people prefer to split them up to try to minimize the side effects. The U.S. FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, insomnia and nervousness. Is there anything else I can help with?
