This medication doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but it does lose efficacy over time, so they will not work as well as they did, when new. It would be best to dispose of them.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this steroid as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and weight changes.

Is there anything else I can help with?
