How is the patient doing? Has there been any change? Taking the fainting into consideration, along with the dizziness, the blood pressure medication you said the patient is on, as well as when these issues occur, I am more inclined to think they may be experiencing orthostatic hypotension. ...

I have been taking diclofenac for about 6 months. Had it filled at 2 different pharmacies who had different suppliers. One (Pack Pharmaceuticals) cost quite a bit more than the other (Actavis). Just curious if it is worth the extra money. Does anyone have a preference? Thanks! ## Which one worked best for you? That's what you really have to go by, since everyone is different. In theory, they are the same, but there can be some slight differences that may cause one to work better for you than another. Thus, if the more expensive one works better for you and is worth your money, then get that one. But if the other works better, then stick with it….or if they both affect you the same, there's really no point in spending more on it. Learn more Diclofenac details here. This med...

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Scrub typhus and the medication (doxycycline) was started after 15 days (the delay is because of diagnosis) from initial appearance of symptoms. First symptom was a severe throat pain which made difficulty in swallowing even my saliva. Later symptoms like fever (103 F), severe body pain (unbearable at back and limbs), consistent chills, fever and sweating developed and remained with me for more than 2 months. I started to loose weight (around 11 Kilograms in 45 days) and my immune cells were found in elevated levels (double than the normal level). Hemoglobin and RBCs were found reduced than the normal limits. NSAIDs (Naproxen, Diclofenac, Ibuprofen) were the only medication prescribed during this time (after initial dose of doxycycline for 10 days). It has...

I have hives from taking prednisone. My mouth also feels torn up, and some minor throat irritation. I was on the meds for 6 days. When will the hives dissapear, and other symptoms? Anyone have this experience? ## If you developed hives from taking it, there is a good chance that you had an allergic reaction to this medication, as reported by the FDA, and if that is the case, you will have to avoid taking it in the future, because such allergic reactions tend to get worse, with repeated exposure. Have you had your doctor check it out for you? A couple years ago, I discovered the hard way that I was allergic to the antibiotic Bactrim and it took several weeks for all of the symptoms to finally clear up.

That would enable me to check the inactive ingredients for you. Thanks! ## I have the same question and the markings are V on the pill. As soon as I realized my mistake and took no more tables. ## Hello, Candace! How are you?
