Hello guys. I am having migrane kind of headache since 18 months. and i have consulted neuro physician and i had two times of MRI scan of brain and there was nothing in that. only cause came out is its sinus related. i was prescribed with set of tablets but there is no effect with those tablets. Then i started taking NISE tablet for my headache. I use to take 12 to 15 tablets in month for my headache. like i took NISE tablet for approximately 12 to 15 months. every month i took 12 to 15. Now i am scared whether it is going to affect my kidneys.? Now i have reduced taking tablets. if any doctor is there means please suggest me the next step.

I took a shot of hydrocortisone injection this morning at 8am and after 3-4hours, I began experiencing weakness in the left lower limp (from the waist to the toes). Before or initially, there was no movement but now slight movement taking place. I took the injection because of gout pains. I need your advice.

Have had a bad cold for 15 days, chest infection, coughing sputum all night. Just been prescribed 30 mg Prednisone once daily for 5 days, because of tightness in chest. Very concerned about the side effects & stopping 30 mg after 5 days....please help ASAP ## Hello, Jen! How are you? There is no need to be concerned about stopping it, after 5 days, the U.S. FDA has found that it only needs to be tapered if it has been taken for 21 days, or more. If a person takes 10 to 20 tablets a day then what are the side effects to the body? I want to know. ## Taking that many could cause a toxic overdose that results in overdose. As listed by the U.S. FDA, overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness and shallow breathing. Do you know someone who is taking this many?

I have recently started playing golf, however, I recently developed a pain on my left side and around my back just under my shoulder blade. I know that it's because of my faulty swing. Hi. I just want to ask if a person has given 2 tablets of prednisone 20mg instead of 1 tab in just a day, does it mean, he/she needs to skip the another dose for tomorrow? ## Hello, Pranky! How are you? Not necessarily, they should follow their doctor's instructions. Sometimes a bolus of a larger dose is given for the first dose, then it is lowered afterwards for a week, or so. My husband has been in the emergency room twice for an allergic reaction that caused his face and eyes to swell within the past week, so he is on prednisone, and steroid cream. He threw up this morning from side effects, and now his face and eyes are reddish purple. What can he do for this? ## Hello, Angela! How is your husband doing? I was prescribed prednisone for a bad allergic reaction. My rash cleared, and It immediately had the side benefit of clearing up existing acne inflammation within one day. It was pretty incredible, as I've been struggling with mild/moderate acne for ages. However, reading Prednisone reviews, I'm getting very concerned that once I stop the prednisone (I'm tapering down), my acne will flare up worse than before. I was wondering if there is anyone who has the positive side affect of clearing up acne, without it returning. I have very painful tendinitis in my right wrist. I took 2 Aleve about 2 hours ago and I'm having a lot of pressure in my head. Could this be my blood pressure going up due to taking Aleve? My urine was positive for thc and I don't smoke but I do take naproxen prescribed from the doctor. Is that the reason why my urine test is positive ## I'm going thru the same thing, also took ibuprophen 800mg. I was also prescribed meloxicam for neck pain and that also can trigger a false positive. ## I take Prednisone and Naproxen, I take at least 3 drug tests per week... Every time the line for THC is very faint... Occasionally it doesn't show up at all... They send it to the lab and of course it is negative... I am currently suffering from swelling in my lower eyelid so I was wondering if aceclofenac & paracaetamol tablets can help relieve the pain. Can I also get the dosage amount I should take if so. ## They may help with the pain, since they are analgesics, but only your doctor can tell you how much you should take and it they are really appropriate. I have taken the 48 pac of prednisone before and it was a graduated dosage by the cards they were on - the prescription I received today was in a bottle and did not have any instructions on how to take them like the ones in the pac. Can you help? ## Are you starting to come off the med? I think you have to gradually come off it. But this current bottle must have a periodic schedule for it, only all at the same dosage. I took 40mg of prednisone for 5days without tampering after being on ER due to a feeling of pass out I had.
