I have read alot of reviews here and on other web sites, but all I can say about this drug is...Where have you been...I am taking 5m tabs 12 a day for 5 days and it decreases to 10 for 4 days and 8 for 3 until you're down to one tab. I am taking it for a lower back pain caused by 2 degenterive discs and bone chips. It help straighten me up and eliminated 90% of the pain. My concern is what happens when I have to stop....I love this medication, and it has also cleared my vision where I no longer need cheaters...It works for me ## I have been off and on drugs for Chronic Neuropathy for 13 years.Nothing helps the pain.Now they want to put me on Prednisone and I am afraid of it.Does anyone have any horror stories on Predisone?I need to know before I commit myself to this...Please!! My Dr. wanted me to get 2 prednisone tablets in today, so I took one at 5pm and one at 10pm. Is that ok and is that far enough apart? ## Ideally, they should be taken about 12 hours apart. I feel like I have nerve damage in my left hand/arm. The ligament is gone in my hand and my arm gets bad pain. I take Aleve. I have no Aleve left, so can I take this pain pill (L484)? I would suggest that you report this to your doctor as soon as possible. While I do not necessarily think you are in danger there must be good reason why the medication was prescribed to take rectally (most likely to act more quickly in your body since it absorbs through the rectum quickly). How do I dispose of Voltaren gel if I do not have used coffee grounds or kitty litter? Walgreens was not helpful with this question... ## If you take it in to them, they should be able to dispose of it for you. I've never known a pharmacy to refuse doing so. Alternatively, since this is not something that is commonly abused, the NIH does state that you could just leave it in it's own sealed container and throw it in with your regular trash. Another option is to ask a local coffee place if they would mind giving you some used grounds that you can use to get rid of it. Is this the only medication you have to dispose of?

Have had shots and pills of Levofloxaci and prednisone with Guaiatussin cough surup. I feel better after taking but keeps coming back. I have been using Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray and allergy aller-technology everyday too. Is it time for a specialist? ## Yes, I think it is likely time for you to see an ENT. According to NIH reports, there is usually some underlying cause for such frequent repeated issues. How often do you take these medications? The Fluticasone is usually used twice a day, in severe cases. The Aller-tec, might not be the right medication to help you. You may need something stronger.

I was in ER this morning and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis...I was prescribed 20mg of prednisone 1x daily...my question is, the ER doc said if I started them tomorrow (Weds) that I would be in great shape by Sunday....as I'm leaving for vacation....He said 5 days, and I'll be good....he prescribed me 15 pills, which makes me think he meant 3x daily for 5 days???....however, bottle says 1x daily???....do you think this could be a mistake? ...thank you in advance! ## You should take it as directed by the doctor. I have a terrible rash on my neck, chest and spreading to my breasts. I am on 20 mg. of prednisone (reduced from 30 mg) and have been for almost a month. I was prescribed two 20 mg of pednisone tablets per day for five days because of a stubborn allergy and sinus infection. I took both of the pills at 9 am this morning to start with because I normally suffer from several nights a week of insomnia anyway.To try to prevent any more sleep problems by adding these pills in, I decided to take them both in the morning hoping the nervousness that they cause would subside enough so by bedtime, about 11 pm, I can sleep.
