I want to gain weight now, but I also have small pimples and acne that I am trying very hard to get rid of... Can this combination improve my condition? ## The Dexamethasone can actually cause more acne as a side effect. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and fluid retention. I just took my last two pills of day one of this medrol pack. My doctor prescribed it for the inflammation in my throat. I felt good all day but after taking these last two this evening, I'm feeling some chest tightness. Is this normal? Also, how long for these pills to wear off so I can sleep? ## This is a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH studies, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, and fluid retention. How severe is the tightness? Such side effects usually linger for a week, or so, after you finish the course of treatment. However, given the chest tightness, it would be best to consult your doctor to be safe.

I want to know if anyone is living with someone, anyone like me: I have a husband who have been on Prednisone for over 6 months due to an undiagnosed breathing condition. It helps him breath so we are thankful for that, but that's IT! Now the new Dr. has him tapering down, per my request, thank goodness. Meanwhile, I still live in hell. I don't know my husband anymore. His personality is gone, his sense of humor gone. What I do have is: constant anger over nothing, anything, fights with me over the stupid things in life that makes every day a living hell. Just when I think maybe he is in a ok mood, bam something changes. He is miserable and so am I. I just don't know how couples survive this medication together. I do not know what this pill is... It's white and shaped like an oval with 632 on one side and 375 on the other. Please help. ## Hello, Shells! How are you? I think the marking you are looking at is actually G32 375, it is manufactured by Glenmarks Generics and they list it as containing 375mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal ant-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. My female dog was just spayed yesterday and of course was given pain medicine. It was not identified on the package what medicine it was. It's a small peach oval pill with the letter P and numbers 25 on one side. ## I located a round brownish peach colored pill with P 25 on one side and blank on the other, that was identified as Diclofenac Sodium tablet 25mg, with a National Drug Code of 16571-0203. There's also round, orangish peach colored Dilaudid with P 2 on them (and a National Drug Code of 59011-0452), but I'm not aware of its use in veterinary medicine. However, with Diclofenac being a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and Dilaudid being a narcotic pain reliever, I couldn't help but speculate on the chance of your pill being related somehow to one or the other. ...

I'm going in for a root canal in three days. It hurts bad and the only pain killer I have is a couple of diclofenac that my doc gave me for gout. I got the prescription in Jul 2009. There is no expiry date on the bottle. Is it still safe to take it after 4 years? ## Hi, Milica! Once the factory seal on a bottle of tablets has been broken, the expiration date is one year from the date you received it from your pharmacy. Naproxen doesn't get dangerous after it has expired, but it will start to lose potency, which means that after 4 years, they are virtually worthless and should just be disposed of properly. My husband has been prescribe voltaren gel 3% for severe arthritis. The cost is $1100.00. Insurance won't pay and we can't afford the cost.
