How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Any time you experience chest pain, you should have it checked out by your doctor to be safe, except in cases where someone has something such as GERD or costochondritis, in which case they know the pain is due to an already diagnosed condition. What are you blood pressure readings and heart rate, when it happens? It can sometimes cause such side effects, in som...

I take seizure meds and 3 other medications along with it and I accidently spilled my bottles over and they all clashed together on the floor and now I can't find out if this medication is my seizure medication or not. ## Hi Grimmace, Is there any chance that the imprint on your pill says "128" as opposed to "122"? The closest match I'm finding is a white round pill with a "C" on the front and "128" on the back. It's not scored or anything else. It just has those two markings embedded into each side of the pill. This particular tablet reportedly contains 10mgs of Amlodipine besylate, which is commonly prescribed for treating high blood pressure. And for additional verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA. I hope this helps!

Is it safe to take my high blood pressure medicine Amlodipine (Norvasc) with Methylprenisolone? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? There shouldn't be a problem, as long as the doctor is aware that you are taking both. Methylprednisolone is a steroid, so while under treatment with it, you may experience blood pressure elevations and elevated heart rate. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, acne and fluid retention. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for responding about my my question with Amlodipine and Methyprednisolone.

Please answer my question about taking Forskolin (weight loss supplement touted by Dr Oz) while on amlodipine, atenol and losartan. Is there an interaction here? ## Hello, BJ! How are you? It's not a good idea to take anything recommended by Dr. Oz, without checking with your doctor. You can find various stories in many popular and well known new sources regarding this, as well as cautionary warnings. What is difference between these two medicines, pl specify their respective use. ## Hi, Sharma! I'm always happy to help, if I can! Amlong AT contains the active ingredients Amlodipine and Atenolol, so it combines a calcium channel blocker with a beta blocker, this combination is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure, but is also sometimes used for certain cardiac conditions. Amlong MT contains Amlodipine and Metoprolol, so it just has a different beta blocker in it, but it's used to treat the same types of conditions. It's really just that the same medications don't always work for everyone, so there are generally several combinations available to provide other treatment options. Side effects for both may include nausea, dizziness, headache and hypotensio...
