I have couple pills that are small round white and unmarked. I have been using ambien for 1 yr,I have heard bad press about heart conditions,,although no bad side effects for me,would ramelteon be a better choice? ## I haven't found anything that definitively says Ambien can cause heart conditions. I'm trying to find a generic for ambien that works - Northstar does not work for me. ## The only thing I can really suggest is to ask your pharmacy, they should be able to order it in for you, though it may cost more and you would likely have to pay any price difference. I recently filled my ambien prescription from the Internet. white oval pills with amb 10 on one side and 5421 on the other. The pills have a sweet taste however, not the usual bitter taste of zolpidem and I don't really feel any effects. I am worried they are not good. Can anyone help? ## Those are the markings for a legitimate 10mg Ambien tablet. Help help help. The most sleep i get at night is an hour here or maybe two there. I take ambien but they only seem to help the first couple of days after i have them filled. I am so tired. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm getting desperate. ## What other things have you tried? Have you discussed it with your doctor, because there are other medications that can be used. You may also want to try staying away from any type of stimulants, in the evening, such as nicotine and caffeine. ## I'm the same way, I even did Ambien and it didnt work for me, try Lunesta i heard that will help a lot.
