what is the dosage for adult 71 yrs old ## Hi sylvia, The usual adult dose of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) tends to vary slightly depending on what you're using it for. In most common cases though, I found it to be: 25 to 50 mg orally every 4 to 6 hours as needed, & not to exceed 300 mg within a 24 hour time period. Learn More: Diphenhydramine Details I hope this helps! :)

Can I use practin tablets for migraine headache?ma ## Practin contains the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergic reactions, so no, it will have no effect on a migraine that has already set in. Learn more Practin details here. There has been some evidence that it may help prevent them from occurring in young children and adolescents, but not in adults and, as I said, it does nothing once someone already has a migraine. small oval pink pill found in daughter's friend's backpack. ## All pills marked with the number 44 are manufactured by LNK International, they only produce over the counter products that are sold by various stores as their store brands or generics. This one is a generic for Benadryl, Diphenhydramine 25mgs. ## Stop illegally searching other peoples property ## I agree! ## If you're searching your daughters FRIENDS stuff then I can only imagine the hell you put your daughter through. $20 says she grows up with daddy issues, contempt and hatred for you, actually becomes a hardcore drug addict (instead of her hanging out in the wrong crowd with a friend who has allergies), and ultimately becomes a failure to society. ## illegal searches only pertain to the gov't. maybe if mo...

I had bought some Zyrtec-d medicine because I have severe allergies and sinuses and I have to use quite a bit to keep me from getting an infection. if i bought this on 12-6-12 and need to get more. Can i buy some more now or do I need to call my dr. and get him to write me a script for it ## If your prescription is one that allows you to get at least 1 refill, then to my understanding you should be able to just walk into the pharmacy and have them fill your script. If there is no mention of a refill on your rx bottle then you may want to contact your doctor first to have him fax over or hand you a new script for it. I hope this helps to answer your question!

took 1 10 mg zyrtec at 3 pm, now 5 hours later still no relief. Would it be ok to take 1 25 mg benadryl before I go to bed? ## Hi Karin, I wouldn't recommend taking either of these drugs together in or around the same time frame, as my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between Zyrtec and Benadryl. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Zyrtec (cetirizine) together with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Is this medicine still being made , and the name of the company , where available. Thanks ## Hi David, I can't seem to locate the manufacturer of this drug, but I did come across a brief article for it on Walgreens' webpage, which leads me to believe that they may actually carry it there in the Cold-Allergy section: health.walgreens.com/tags/show/173158/uni-tex-120-10 Do you know what the active ingredients of it are? Perhaps you can also buy them separately if they don't have the brand you're looking for. I hope this helps!

May I take mucinex while I am currently taking lisinopril, hctz, metformin, and zocor? ## Hi Beth, From what I could gather, Mucinex does not have interactions with any of those medications. Oddly enough though, my findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrochlorothiazide/Lisinopril and Metformin. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Before taking hydrochlorothiazide, tell your doctor if you also use Metformin. Hydrochlorothiazide can cause high blood sugar and interfere with glucose control. You may need a dose adjustment and you may need to check your blood sugar more often if you take both medications. Hydrochlorothiazide can also cause lactic acidosis while you are using Metformin. Symptoms of lactic acidosis include unusual m...
